The other idea would be to sart a facebook group to expose Telco and Yes and Express. Any takers. Facebook seems to work..0

your contract is not with carphone warehouse, The phone probably came from a company called Vanilla Mobile which is a Trading division of Carphone Warehouse but is only a distribution firm the contract would have been with Express Mobile which in turn is a Trading name of Yes Mobile /Telco limited . You have very little chance of getting any money !!!!
Hi,
Yes I know that now, but not at the time. No matter what I was under the impression that I was 'signing' a contract with carphonewarehouse, that was how they presented themself anyway..I know now that the situation is different and is gobsmack that companies can get away with representing themself as calling from a diff company..0 -
Which is the same address that you will now find Montyrony's Telco!

They have another company, same address and for those who dont feel like paying for the call they have a toll free number. 0800 198 66660 -

I took out an orange contract last June with express mobiles.
managed to get the first two cheques - only after constantly bombarding Sam & Ali with calls. Told on several occasions the cheque had been sent!! I am still waiting for my 3rd claim due to be paid in April and the 4th due to be paid in July.
I have spoken to consumer direct, orange, trading standards, orange again!! all several times.
Express now don't take phone calls and tell you to contact them via website but they don't reply.
Spoke to Orange yesterday and they have taken Carphone warehouse to task over this for me. They said Carphone Warehouse does have a responsibility to sort this out because they are down on my contract as the dealer (even though they subcontracted the selling to express mobiles). They give the dealer 7 days to respond. if they don't agree to cover the cashback claim, then orange said they will do their best to offer me a lower cost contract or allow me to bail out of hte last 6 months with no financial penalty.
I'm about to get back onto trading standards!!0 -
I have obtained judgement against Yes Mobiles from the courts for £240 having paid £25. Is there anyone else out there who also has judgement as I am reluctant to pay a further £55 for the bailiffs to go in. If a number of us grouped together it would defray the costs.0

Interesting.....I have a contract with O2, also through carphonewarehouse and they just completely refuse responsibility....I am about to write a compaint letter to them , as I have the feeling the the customerservice people have no authority and it depends who you gt through to what kind of answer you get....
I spoke with Consumer direct on friday - trying to reach Hamps trading standard, but was redirected. They said that Hamps TS had stoppped dealing with claims on this issue. Obviously you can still make a complaint, but they are no longer dealing with individual claims. No answer to why.
Also can someone tell me the best way to make a court claim?0 -
Has anyone found out who is the solicitor or accountant for the express mobiles/yesmobiles/telco...?

Another Question: How do I get in contact with Hamps Trading Standard. When I call 01622626520 I get redirected to Consumer Direct, who, with do respect, are pretty useless. They can tell me what it says on the screen - statement from Hamps, but cannot tell me about what is being done about the case ans why certain decisions has been taken.
So who have had the success of getting through to the Hamps TS and how?
