The saga moves on I now have a court date (not until October )I have claimed against Telco Ltd T/A Express Mobiles ,they have added a 2nd defendant Mobiles Ltd T/A Express Mobiles who are they ? haven't got a clue I guess I just wait until I get their defence papers
• I'm gobsmacked how many people out there have found themselves in the same position as me. l've only just discovered the state that Yes Mobiles is in after calling them, again, today and visiting their site, hence i found this forum - good to hear of some support. This is where i'm at, i seem to have been lucky enough to recieve three cheques from this 'company' (after much harrassment from me), however l am three months late recieving my fourth. I've spent all day bouncing between consumer direct, cpw, orange, and anyone else that could be traced to them. Needless to say having read the useful info on here i contacted Telco Ltd, first to be told they had nothing to do with Yes/Express and the phone put down, secondly the phone put down as soon as it was picked up, then thirdly on asking for Sally Bowles (if anyone knows of her personally is she the snake she seems!) Nicky (hmmm..i wonder!) to not be sure of who she was, asked me for her e-mail address etc, bascially fobbed off with if i can trace her as working here we'll get her to phone you!

Anyway i'm just off the phone with Hants Trading Standards who weren't aware of Telco Ltd or the conveniant situation of identical people working there! They will delve further. They assured me they would get a date added to Yes Mobiles comment on the web so when the 3 months is up we can all bombard. Further they said we are damned if we sue and damned if we don't, i know which option i'm taking so i guess i'll see you all in court!

Keep up the harrassment and hopefully the good people will win out, i hope this comes back to bite them!

hi. i contacted sw trading standards on monday. only info they had was in april they issued statement that express are in financial difficulties.BUT, thay have promised to settle all cashbacks, which would take several months!how come that not one express customer has been told this in form of email, letter etc.trading standards just told me to continue to send in cashbacks and pester them!
also, this business about orange not wanting to cancel your contract.apparently, anyone who doesn't want to keep on paying can apply to have this debt set aside.DEBTLINE 08088084000 will have more info.hope this info will be of some use to anyone!

Please can you explain this bit more, I don't quite understand. Do you mean if I cancel my contract I would be in debt with Orange, and that they have agreed to wave that debt??

yeh wat will the debtline help you with exactly??

EM/TELCO/YM sent me a cheque of £155 a few days ago after they found out that they have to attend court, i cashed the cheque and now basically told EM to contact my network provider in this case Orange and get them to cancel my contract without me having to pay any further charges otherwise i wil attend the court date.
• Hi,
In the same position as everyone else, I called consumer direct regarding my rights to cancel my contract - in my case with 02 and carphonewarehouse.

Basically the lady there told me that I had no rights in this situation and that the 02 was in its rights to hold me to the contract, even through I only became aware of Express mobiles when I recieved my contract in the post and even then it was not clear that my contract was with them. Apparently a phone agreement is enough to seal the deal...

I will try the court and the Hamps trading standard. But was also thinking to write a letter to Watchdog about this....I am actually sure that express mobiles is not the only company like this, and basically these people should not be allowed to run a company....

I would like to add a list of names to my email to Watchdog, so if you are interested pelase email me on signe_jensen@hotmail.com

Kind Regards

and good money hunting...

The only was to bug this company is to bug TELCO.
They have a lovely new website a great team and are foucussing on business mobiles while in the back of their minds have forgotten about all the Yes and Express Mobiles. WWW.telco.uk.com

Numbers 0844 8888 555 or 08700 200 200.

It is best to tell anyone who has any idea of taking out business contracts to stay away from them. It is best to report them to the networks as well. After all there are many of us who received a cheque from Telco t.a Express Mobiles and how many of these businesses operate in Hamspshire anyway.

Telco ltd was previously named Premier Telecom Ltd.

The registered office of Premier Telecom Ltd is:

1 The Belfry
4400 Parkway
Solent Business Park
Whiteley
Hampshire
PO15 7FJ

Which is the same address that you will now find Montyrony's Telco!
