I have just got a cheque in the post for £265.00
£240.00 6 months phone bill and my court costs.
The cheque is from YES MOBILES LIMITED. That came in one envelope then another envelope came from telco saying that " we will be defending the claim as the contract to which you refer was entered into with Yes mobiles Limited trading as Express Mobiles and not ourselves we have however requested that Yes mobiles Limited send you the cheque-back payment that is due to you.
I am going to take it to the bank now, will keep you posted.

I did the same thing as you and got the same letter but i only recieved £120. They still owe me another £200! i am going to another action through the court! and i hope the cheque doesnt bounce!

    When did you get yours.???
I have spoke with trading standards and they told me not do anything with court action until the cheque has cleared.
I have just paid the cheque into the bank they told me it could bounce up until 21st May, so court action stays in place until after this date.
My last invoice was on the19th April and paid 6th May so this payment was quick.

    Hi

i recieved my letter today stating that Telco have nothing to do with EM or Yes mobiles. But then they also say that they will request Yes Mobiles/EM to send my cheque. lol

how stupid is that! first you say u dont have anything to do with that company then you say we will make a request! I mean so why do u need to make a request to EM/Yes mob if u have nothing to do with it! that just shows your guilty!

I also recieved my cheque today in a separate envelope as the letter both envelopes stamped from Farenham Hants.

Thats so stupid because its so obvious that the cheque and letter came from the same place, but they try make it look like the cheque came from another place like they say we have issued a request to EM/Yes mobiles to pay your cheque!

so how comes the cheque and letter came on the same day, i mean did you make that request that fast!

    These people are liers!

im really getin sick of this cos i only recieved £120 and they still owe me £200. the court ses i have to wait till 21st may and if they dont pay the money then the court will take it further!

    Good luck to everyone.

 I to have conned by Express mobile . I have tried to call them repeatedly it goes to voice mail. I think Carphone warehouse and O2 are in cahoot with Express mobile. i would love to take them to court. I have cancelled direct debit and switched of the phone. I will not pay anymore.

I am not sure this is a good thing to do as the contract was taken out with a 3rd party, orange told me that I have to keep the contract going and there was nothing I could do.
The air time provider will take you to court and I don't think that you will have a leg to stand on.
Just keep on to express/yes-mobiles I sent them 27 E mails in one day they soon get sick of you. Also do an online court claim.
    Good Luck.
Having said all that my cheque only went into the bank today.;)

    Dear all

for those who have still waiting to recieve money from EM please issue this to a small claims court. in the mean time it is important you pay your bills to the network provider as they have nothing to do with this although they are idiots for doing business with EM!

Anyway refer EM to a small claims court because thats the only way u will get your money back! so hurry and go on www.moneyclaimonline.gov.uk to make a claim!

I agree with SID08, another thing is not to downgrade your phone with the phone network provider (Orange or whoever) because then you have broke the terms and conditions agreed with Yes-mobiles. Then you will no chance of getting any money back.
