Hi, you will not get anymore cashback from Express Mobile, I was lucky and got 2 cheques which did not bounce. Express Mobile are just playing the waiting game before they close the business down. I contacted Orange and was able to get the contract changed from £40 per month to £25 per month the deal went from 850 mins & 300 texts to 400 mins & 100 texts more than enough for me ,may be some of Express Mobile customers could try the same route. Because they will get nothing from Express Mobile
Hi, just like you, I received my first two cheques, after much aggrevation, but am yet to receive the third and it does'nt like like I will. I contacted Orange but the best they offered me was to downgrade to 35.00 a month. I will phone them again tomorrow and ask them if they will reduce it further, as just like yourself I'm hardly using the phone so to be paying what I am a month without any of it back is a right kick in the teeth. What number did you contact them on?0 -
Telco Limited T/a Express Mobiles Are Aparently Still Trading. They Have Gone To Great Lengths To Keep Their Office Postal Address Secret So That You Cant Sent Court Papers To Them. However After Several Hours On The Net And The Phone - Here It Is !! So Stick It To Em.!!
Telco Limited T/a Express Mobiles
Unit 5, The Tanneries, East Street, Fareham, Hants Po14 4ar
If You Fill In A Small Claims Court Forms You Will Get Not Only The Outstanding Payments Refunded But Also The Remaining Payments On The Contract. I Have 2 Contracts With Them And Have Just Claimed For £1340 - The Small Claims Court Fee Was £75 And Is Refundable0 -
Hi, i just phoned Orange on 150 (free ) from my mobile got though to customer services was offered the £35 deal,, said i was not happy with that (Be polite). I was then offered the £25 deal , ask to speak to a supervisor it may work for other customers good luck.
The address for Express Mobiles is correct, but they do not except mail at this address so recorded mail does not get signed for . I live 10 miles away. If you go down the small claims route all Express will do is say they are going to defend the case , then not turn up, you win your case , then try getting your money , if there is no money in the company hard luck, this of course will take many months by which time Express will have closed down and opened up as a different company. But best of luck to any one who goes down this route0 -
I would love to see that SMART person who came up with idea of "cashback deals" and in the end thousands of people lost money and companies ended bankrupt/out of business.
Shock horror  I just received email reply i sent to complaint department , after spending my precious minutes on phone to Inda er O2 Customer Department and getting nowhere. I even got email from them first that i MUST pay termination charges. Yeah right,on end was "if you want to make complaint contact our complaint department" They can bet i did and now i received email -after missed anonymous call from them, that they usually charge termination fee but make exception, WOW. Oh well i am glad i will be sent jiffy bag to return phone/sim.
If you need to know what i wrote to them it was something like :
After you/carphone warehouse/express mobiles(you are in same boat)breached contract, as you must pay them commision to sell these dodgy contracts and clearance phones for you, i am not paying any termination charges as i was scammed to this contract and am sure your company doesn't need to do this to get by and make money. I have lost £240 /u made/ for something i don't need or can be making same calls on sparkling new phone even from you for £40 a month?! Also if they want to add copies of forums where people been scammed from as far as last summer and still sold me contract in November thru this company.:A
Anyways....as i had before O2 payg card they got great offers/calls but should do something about these scamming companies giving them a bad name also. This should be somehow regulated as Ofcom offers( se previous post)
Phew, good luck to you all.:money:0 -
Dear all
Please note you have to contact your Network provider via a letter and wait for a response before you ring CISAS. When recieving a response from your network provider you may forward this response to CISAS who will note that a complaint has been made and will try to end the contract with your dealer.
hi, I've sent two letters to Orange regarding this matter and they have'nt responded. I've been told to ask for a deadlock letter from CISAS, any ideas as to what this is?:o0 -

I have written to Orange stating that I too will be cancelling direct debits if they don't respond, their time is up tomorrow.
I will let you know what happens.:T0 -
A cheque has arrived in this mornings post. It's for £120 and signed for and on behalf of Yes Mobiles Ltd. It's a Barclays cheque - Fareham branch.
Different bank/branch/account name from the last cheque.
I can't bank it until Monday so don't know if it'll bounce or not, but if it doesn't then at least it reduces the average price of this £40 a month contract down to £26 a month.
My next set of 3 bill submissions is in a couple of weeks. It's so depressing to think that i'll have to under go all this hassle again to get the 3rd cheque, but at least it's something !
Hope others have had the same today.
Keep on fighting.0 -
Dear everyone who has had problems with express mobiles.
Well I have finally had some money back from them
They owed me £240 and I don't think I would of ever got it back.
So I decided to take them to court! Go onto moneyclaim.com and fill in the details. It did cost me £25 to start the procedure but it's well worth it.
They then sent them a letter and 5 days later I had a cheque from express mobiles for £265 so they also paid for court fee.(it does ask on money claim if you want them to pay the court fee).
There is a down side though, I don't think i'll ever recieve another payment from express mobiles and I still have 8 months of the contract left.
So I spoke to orange and they have changed the tarriff for me it's not brilliant but it's cheaper.
So too all I hope this will help!0 -
