    Hi All,

I also got sucked into one of these contracts via a text message to my 3 Phone. I can say that i have recieved my 1st claim and nothing further. One thing i can say is that when i called CARPHONE WHAREHOUSE they had my details on their system. They know very well about Express Mobiles.

Maybe we should be focusing on them.

    Any other ideas.

Also can we claim the remainder of our contract, because in theory they only have to pay once they have received our bills.
  • Right, I've recieved the same automated email as the rest of you guys and to be honest i don't buy it, i'm now awaiting 2 lot's of cashback payments and there is no way that it's taking them this long to process the claims. so now i'm going to take them to the small claims court. has anyone else done this? If so, please advise, i know that you can do it online...but would really appreciate any advice anybody has.

    Hi There,

I would try calling Telco 08700 200 200 thats where the cheque came from Telco trading as Express Mobiles, if anything its worth while irritating them.

The other option is to call Carphone Wharehouse direct and bug them.

    Pointless.

You would be wasting your own time and money.

CPW are not responsible for paying EMs cashback.

I too have been conned by the "CASH BACK JOKE" offered by Express Mobiles and must be one of the few who have received a cheque. I got my cheque for my first claim after alot of hassle and am now pursuing my second claim.
A report in my local newspaper stated that the Communications & Internet Adjudication Scheme have made a decision that customers could end their contract with Orange & T Mobile because of significant changes from their original agreement. Trading Standards are urging Orange & T Mobile customers who have not received the cash back promise to contact CISAS on 0207 520 3814. Customers with other networks can contact Otelo 0845 050 1614 but the report states that there is no guarantee that Otelo will make the same decision.
Hope this helps, I am certainly going to go down this road and Express Mobiles is a DEAD END!!

The more people that call, the more serious of an issue it will be. Why do they have my details, in thier system. Even the bank that is used for my direct debit. They are very much connected and they themselves do not want any bad publicity.

Hi, contacted CISAS today as I'm in the same boat. They are only interested if I have been complaining for 3 months or if I can get orange to provide me with a deadlock letter. Meanwhile I phoned trading Standards again, explaining that I'd followed procedures by sending letters Via recorded delivery to express mobiles and had only had automated responses. They say they will be contacting me within the next 5 days. I have also sent letters to Orange explaining that as I do hold them partly responsible and because they have'nt responded to previous letters, my only option will be to cancel my direct debit payments.
    Keep posting.

If I were you I would want to know why cpw have my details - looks like maybe some data protection issue here.

(Unless you have been a customer of theirs in the past, and they have stored these details from an earlier transaction?)

    Dear all

Please note you have to contact your Network provider via a letter and wait for a response before you ring CISAS. When recieving a response from your network provider you may forward this response to CISAS who will note that a complaint has been made and will try to end the contract with your dealer.

Hi, you will not get anymore cashback from Express Mobile, I was lucky and got 2 cheques which did not bounce. Express Mobile are just playing the waiting game before they close the business down. I contacted Orange and was able to get the contract changed from £40 per month to £25 per month the deal went from 850 mins & 300 texts to 400 mins & 100 texts more than enough for me ,may be some of Express Mobile customers could try the same route. Because they will get nothing from Express Mobile
