Amazon NewDay card ends on the 11th.
Has anyone else who opted in, already received their new Pulse card?
I keep getting emails and text messages warning me the NewDay card is changing. An ex-bankrupt on a journey of recovery. Feel free to send me a DM reference credit building credit cards from the usual suspects Happy to help others going through what I've been through!1 -

Current card still works in the meantime and until the new card arrives and is activated.
It was the following sentence in the letter that confuses a little.
”You are still able to use your Amazon Platinum Mastercard as you do today until the earlier of:• the date you activate your Pulse card if you chose to opt in; or • 11th November 2022.”
I was thinking that as 11th November comes earlier, then won’t be able to use the card after that, as not getting new card till December...
Opted in back in September btw.0 -
This is an email that I received- I did have to opt in.

I have a weird one, I've received an email to say my latest statement is ready. I assume my final one as I've cancelled the card but I can't log in. My details don't work. I'm fairly certain that I don't owe anything on the card so I'm not overly concerned but seems odd to notify me of a statement but not allowing me to log in to view it.0

So I've had to download the Pulse app and it's no longer letting me log in on the new day site.
Anyone had there points transferred?0 -
That's as expected as today is the 11th, the day given to use the Pulse App/OAM.
The points question was answered earlier in this thread, they will be credited no later than end December. A bit longer to wait 🙂1 -
Yes the Amazon app is now dead - it directs you to download the Pulse app and log in with the same details - painless enough. No mention of the points (as expected) in the new app. Same credit limit - transactions all there. I can also access my previous Amazon statements as well.An ex-bankrupt on a journey of recovery. Well I opted-in, was forced to start using the Pulse app from yesterday. My spouse is an additional cardholder. Haven't received and no sign of the physical cards. Today - Amazon Platinum cards have stopped working. What an utter mess. No chance of getting through on Chat or phone.
We put all our spending through this card and pay it off as soon as the statement comes out. There doesn't seem to be any other reward cards out there that a) aren't Amex or b) only reward you if you shop at a specific supermarket like M&S, Sainsbury's or Asda - we don't, we use Amazon Grocery plus most of our spend is non-supermarket stuff. Any alternatives?1 -

Halifax/Lloyds Cashback Credit Card - 0.25% cashback up to £4000 pa, 0.5% above
Barclaycard Rewards - 0.25% cashback + no FX charges
Co-operative Members Credit Card - 1p cashback per £2 at Co-op food, 1p per £3.33 elsewhere (requires a Co-op Bank account)
You won't get more than a few points of a % on a straight cashback product. If you spend mostly at Amazon you should look in to advantageous ways of buying Amazon gift cards.0 -
