Check your inbox in your Newday Amazon account for all the details but basically it's changing to "Pulse" cashback at 0.25% capped at £150 per year.

Not sure what happens to the existing reward points if you have less than 1000 by November. Hopefully they will be generous and convert the balance regardless of the amount ,e.g. 657 points would be £6.57 added to the Amazon gift card balance.

I was under the impression that it was moving over to Pulse in January 2023. I saw a comment about someone getting an email about the end of the partnership and now this post, but I've not had any direct communication from New Day regarding the changes.

I stopped using the card a few months ago and will just have to spend £22 to get 1000 points. I wonder where others are in terms of points.

Regarding the card itself, if you can spend £4K a year, I'd say to jump over to Lloyds or Halifax because they can give 0.5%. This was my plan but I've now got Barclaycard Avios as a backup to my Amex, so I'll likely be cancelling this card. I also read about 1% cashback for the first month, which may or may not be happening, but it's a decent offer.

There’s already a lengthy thread about the change over from the Amazon credit card to there Pulse cashback card.

It’s also not ending in November but in January 2023 from all the emails and info I’ve received about the change over.
Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both.

That was the link posted by MSE in the wrong forum - but it's been discussed in other threads as well that didn't have the initial topic linked to the closure.

Thanks for the link, I was getting confused as I couldn't find any threads which I would describe as "lengthy" and the discussions so far have been prior to actual documents being provided to the customers.

I've just received the letter this morning. It's a shame as it was a good card for us for non Amex spending, av £50 a year in gift cards.

I think I'll end up cancelling the card and using my Chase account for 1% cashback. I do have an old Aqua credit card as a back up which will need reactivating, I need to double check but I think that could be 0.5% cashback.

What does the letter actually say?

Is there any reference to a migration to a Pulse card, as discussed in the other thread?

Yes, the letter states migration to Pulse from Nov 22 at 0.25% cashback. Not great compared to the Amazon version of the New Day card.

No mention of the 1% for three months either.  Just 0.25%

I also couldn't find a lengthy ongoing thread about it, OP. Thanks for starting this thread.
