Check your inbox in your Newday Amazon account for all the details but basically it's changing to "Pulse" cashback at 0.25% capped at £150 per year.

Not sure what happens to the existing reward points if you have less than 1000 by November. Hopefully they will be generous and convert the balance regardless of the amount ,e.g. 657 points would be £6.57 added to the Amazon gift card balance.
It seems like the points less than 1000 will be converted ?? ..... I have 834. I don't think i will get to 1000 by 11 Nov.      "YOU WILL CONTINUE TO EARN AMAZON REWARD POINTS UNTIL 11 NOV. YOUR POINTS BALANCE WILL BE CONVERTED INTO A GIFT CARD"

Also worth nothing is that the change to Pulse is not automatic, you have to opt in to receive the new card and you have to activate it.  If you do nothing then the existing credit card will stop working.  On my letter it shows:

You are still able to use your Amazon Platinum Mastercard as you do today until the earlier of:
    • the date you activate your Pulse card if you chose to opt in; or
    • 11th November 2022.

If it's worth the spend for the gift card then could you buy some long lasting essentials rather than use a supermarket or whatever

    11/11/22 is closing date.
Not sure when Pulse cards are being issued.
New Day/Amazon I found very useful in restricting purchases to Amazon only.
    Keeps 95% of 3.75k free.

rumours are that its barclays who they will partner with but thats probably only because they already use them for the monthly payments for higher value purchases.

That link takes me to a sign in page, after which I see Amazon Mastercard provided by New Day,  which is exactly what we have now.
