rumours are that its barclays who they will partner with but thats probably only because they already use them for the monthly payments for higher value purchases.
Surely Amex, who already issue their corporate credit cards, is a more likely candidate?
That link takes me to a sign in page, after which I see Amazon Mastercard provided by New Day, which is exactly what we have now.
if you read further down it says
We’ll be launching a brand-new Amazon-branded credit card that rewards you every time you spend. We’ll be in touch with more details on the new card so customers can stay up to date and sign up for exclusive early access.

good point i wouldn't be surprised to see Amex get it i still think its more likely barclays but thats just because Amex can be abit picky when it comes to customers
If its the volume of customers amazon want to increase then its more likely barclays or even a smaller company like jaja who have just released an asda credit card. It will probably be launching this year if newday amazon credit close by november.
They won't want to miss out on the christmas trade so the launch will be this year imo
Thank you for the information- I went back, scrolled down and checked the FAQ tab as well but my page doesn't have that info.
i'm not sure when the page was updated maybe recently and thats why some people yourself included can't see it
it says they will get in touch via email for early access to the card so for people who can't see the updated page and want an amazon reward card then just wait for the email.

My gut is that if volume was their primary concern they wouldn't have dropped NewDay as they're one of the more accommodating lenders.
In the US Amazon credit cards are provided by JP Morgan Chase, and the arrangement has only recently been renewed, so perhaps Chase could be a candidate to be the new UK credit card provider for Amazon.

That's great to hear. I've still not received an email about this, perhaps they're really slow with sending them out.

According to reporting by MSE Which and The Motley Fool at the time it was New Day who dropped Amazon:
