This is a nightmare, I've got a email today to say that my account is being closed, I thought it was moving over to Pulse automatically!? I've been on hold for nearly an hour trying to get through to them, I really hope I can reopen my ACC :-(
This happened to me too :(  Have you had any luck resolving it?  I have been told on online chat that they can't reinstate the account but wondering if it is worth phoning.
I've just rang them and made an official complaint, I was sent an email but no letter through the post regarding having to opt in, the chap on the phone said a letter should've been sent, also the letter in the messages section of my app regarding Amazon to Pulse switch over didn't mention anything about opting in, so that is the basis of my complaint, fingers crossed they can get the account open again, this has imo been handled very poorly with some acc's being automatically transferred across and others needing to opt in, I'll keep this thread updated.

I can still log in to my account via the website and whilst everything is visible (e.g. statements) it's not showing the particular refund in question. It was only today though so I've barely given it much chance to appear.
I imagine it'll take a few days to hit your account.
You were spot on - the refund has today been credited to my account (thus reducing the outstanding balance due for final payment in December).

    New Pulse card arrived today.

Sounds good. Are you an automatic rollover, or did you have to opt in? If the latter, when did you phone and ask to continue with a Pulse card? (I had to opt in, and am wondering when mine might arrive. I actually left it past the last minute - I was told that I had to phone in by 6 November, but actually did so at 0850 on 7 November.)

I opted in in August. No Pulse card for me yet 🤷‍♂️

That said, no hurry for it while Chase paying me 1% cashback.

Received my new Pulse card this morning - activated in the app - and notice that I've already got 51p cashback. Easy, smooth transition for me.

My app is asking for me to activate the card, so that suggests to me that mine is on its way.

This may well have been up for a while now but I see that Amazon do still intend to offer a rewards credit card (here):

It also says: 'Our brand-new rewards card will be launching next year. We’ll be in contact with more details nearer the time, and to notify customers when they can apply.'

Will be holding out for that as that was that was why I went for the Newday card and only used it at Amazon given the particularly favourable cashback reward there.

I'll be interested to find out which card provider/bank will be behind it... Could it be a way for Chase (UK) to get into the UK credit card market? The USA based Amazon credit cards appear to be provided by JP Morgan Chase.... So it could be a natural progression? (And the watch this space ad is very 'Chase blue')
