I'm considering a move to RWG but I cannot find anywhere that tells me which phone numbers are included in the 'Free' minutes allowance, ie 01, 02, 03 etc. or even 0844, 0845, 0870 etc. I assume 0800 and 0808 are always free?

Drop them an email and ask them - they seem to be quite good when it comes to customer service so they will more than likely reply and tell you what you need to know1

They do publish some tariffs on their website but these are only the prices charged when you have used up your free allowance. I have emailed them.
