It sounds like your APN settings are not selected or the wrong provider chosen. On my phone I go into SIM settings (you may need advanced next) and select Access Point Names. On mine the chosen network is 'Internet Everywhere' which is the EE access point. RWG runs on the EE network and this works perfectly for me for internet.Bogof_OAP said:SIM has arrived today. Put into phone, managed to sort out texts and calls but no internet. I phoned a number that I stupidly can't remember where I got it from, and got through to an Indian chap who said he would send me a link that I should click on and download, which would set up internet access. I should turn on wifi and when it was downloaded turn the phone off and on again.
A text with a link arrived, I did as instructed, but I could see the address in the bar started with iPhone, and it's an Android phone as I told him when he asked. So it doesn't work. I now can't re-call the number as it goes straight into "call ended", so have emailed them on support@rwgmobile.wales. Still awaiting a response.
They don't make this easy do they?
Edit: Have dialed *669# and it gives me my £15 balance, but I'm not getting the options to press to talk to someone.

Oh, the letter that had the SIM attached has support@rwgmobile. wales. It's in tiny print, almost like they don't want people to use it!alanjones60 said:Email support@rwgmobile.com
Very fast to reply on that
Thanks, will try the above, might get a reply.
Used to be Bogof_Babe. It did need updating!0 -
It's a rather old (pre-2015 if the last emails are anything to go by) Samsung, it's like pulling teeth trying to get it to do anything. He likes it because it has a rubber cover and he can take it on his walking trips in case he drops his iPhone down a ravine or something.virgo17 said:

The options I get for Available Networks ae vodaphone; Now, O2 and Three UK, so I've selected Now.
Had to set up a Google account as it says I need one for the RWG app, but it is proving a 'mare. Keeps insisting on birthdate being entered, but the Save button doesn't work so I'm going round in circles. The phone is going out the window shortly.Used to be Bogof_Babe. It did need updating!0 -
The app does virtually nothing (unless there's a new one in the last few weeks), I wouldn't bother and just use the short codes rot check allowances etc and the email for customer service. Both work very well.Bogof_OAP said:

There is roaming, i.e. the SIM connects and is usable, though it isn't free.virgo17 said:
The only thing that you could be missing is that there is no foreign roaming on these two cheap deals.
The welcome text message says
Roaming in the EU. Call UK or EU for 10ppm (free to receive). SMS are 10p (free to receive), Data 15p per MB. For emergencies call 112.
I didn't test this. In a dual SIM phone I switched this one to a local SIM.

Update - had a reply from support@rwgmobile.com,which told me to check APN settings and what to set them to. I had no idea what these are, but with a little help from Google I managed to locate them. Couldn't select EE Internet as the phone is so old it only had Orange, but fortunately it seems to have worked on that.
All good now, and despite its age it's a smashing little phone so very glad we can keep it going for as long as RWG last now! Thanks for your help and advice everyone.Used to be Bogof_Babe. It did need updating!0 -
I did mention the APN settings to you a few posts back and I'm glad you were able to get the settings working.Bogof_OAP said:

Orange was incorporated into the EE brand some years ago. I imagine the addresses for the Orange APN settings now point to the EE servers, so you will be set up fine.
