The allowance is the same, I believe they just chose to give it free to anyone who topped up £15 through the website or rang to activate a topup. Just imagine paying £2 a month and receiving a message to say your free bundle etc.
Apparently it is a flash sms (like a newsflash presumably) but on android you do have the option to save the message if you want to keep a record of usage. It will reset at 9pm tomorrow apparently. Not sure what will happen when clocks go back next month.1 -
I suspect there was a typo in your first text as you didn't get a response. It isn't the most user friendly thing to do. Someone has said that texting it without the info can lead to you signing up to pay £2 a month. Now it is working best use copy and paste in future.Bogof_OAP said:
Is this an automated thing or do I have to wait for someone to read it and reply? Sent text half an hour ago, no response yet.alanjones60 said:Texting infoukrwg1 to 669 is a free text,it tells you how many calls texts and data you have left1 -

I'm on the "one off £5 plan", and my free minutes have not yet been reset either.

Mine reset sometime between 11pm last night and 7:15 this morning. I can live with that level of uncertainty.0

My £15 free plan renews on the 25th and has done every month without fail since iv had it0

Yes, there seems to be a change from older SIM's. As I said my £15 free plan renewed last night but my sons £5 free plan, which is older, renews on the date it was activated, 23rd of the month.alanjones60 said:My £15 free plan renews on the 25th and has done every month without fail since iv had it

Does anyone have advice on how to proceed when the porting process doesn't work?I fitted my new RWG SIM last Wednesday and it worked straight away. I have my £15 credit and I can make and receive calls using the SIM's number. I filled in the form to port my old number on Thursday 29th September and received a confirmation email stating that the port would take place within 2 working days. This has not happened. At the moment I am stuck with a new number which is useless when my bank wants to send a One Time Passcode to check my identity.I have emailed RWG Support but had no response so far. Any suggestions on how to proceed would be most appreciated.Update: As of 16:40 today my old number is now ported across!0
