Just curious I'm on ESA and the people who have received there payment who are on benefits was it paid on the day you received your benefits or was it just a random day?

The CoL payments are separate and payment dates are, to my knowledge, not linked to your normal benefit payment dates.

peteuk said: The important thing is those who are getting it will get it between the dates mentioned.  Obviously com 31 July if you haven't received it then youll have a right to complain.
Not definitely. The guidance says "Between 14 and 31 July 2022 for most people".
DWP has already identified some circumstances where making some payments have proved difficult, e.g, for those with Credit Union accounts where bulk payments have been issued to Credit Unions, who have then been unable to determine which customers the payments were intended for. Hopefully to be sorted before 31st July.

Hi has anyone else not received theirs? I’m aware we have until the 31st! Just want reassurance that I’m not the only one still waiting lol

My daughter hasn't had hers yet... UC claim.

Well, got mine earlier and it said 'DWP C OL'

So your deleting aside, you were wrong.

Why was i wrong? What i said was "my daughter hasn't had hers yet and she claims UC. What exactly did i delete?  I had mine on 14th July and yes it also has DWP CoL next to the payment, exactly the same as everyone else that receives it.

Just been looking at my universal credit statement and my assessment period I got paid UC was 3rd May - 2nd June

the criteria was from 26 April - 25 May! So does that mean I’m not eligible?

    It’s so confusing

To get the first Cost of Living Payment of £326, you must have been entitled to a payment (or later found to be entitled to a payment) of Universal Credit for an assessment period that ended in the period 26 April 2022 to 25 May 2022.
So if your assessment period ended on 25th May you are eligible.
