Perhaps they are using payment dates as order?
I know another lady who got hers also and her normal payment date is the 1st.
It did cross my mind whether they might be going by certain digits of NI number (for UC anyway, legacy benefits seem to have mostly got theirs first). But as that is far too personal information to share at all, we may never know!0 -
I completely agree - I was just trying to head off those who say they haven't got it by the 31st!poppy12345 said:calcotti said:

Indeed, i'm sure that some will fall through the net. My point here is, it's day 2 of the payments being made and already we have people posting saying they haven't received it.
Am at a complete loss as to how what is one of the simplest arrangements I have even seen is causing so much confusion!Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.1 -
I'm not really seeing confusion, just a bit of desperation 🤷♂️ People trying to work out roughly when they'll have the moneycalcotti said:

Yes between now and 31st July, is all anyone here can tell anyone. There's been confusion about who's entitled to what since the guidance was updated, you only have to search the forum to see exactly how many threads there are on the same subject.

I cannot see any point in discussing what methodology (assuming there is one) is behind the date of payments. We’re all guessing. All we know is that payments have started and the intention is to get most paid by 31st July (for those entitled due to DWP benefits).Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Agreed. I just got my payment and I had no idea when to expect it. I didn't even know if I was entitled to it a few hours ago. My brother hasn't had his yet, but he knows 2 people who have (apart from me). I noticed people saying if they had theirs or not and saying what bank they are with. I don't think that is relevant in the slightest. I'm with Barclays, my brother is with Bank of Scotland and the 2 he knows that got paid are also with Bank of Scotland. As painful as it is waiting on it, all you can do is wait until the 31st July. The whole thing is a shambles.calcotti said:I cannot see any point in discussing what methodology (assuming there is one) is behind the date of payments. We’re all guessing. It's not really a shambles though, there's an initial two-week period in which people can expect it. A shambles would be if it takes several weeks longer, or if lots of eligible people didn't get theirs.Adrian_T_B said:

The bank does not matter, it’s if the bank shows pending transactions.Adrian_T_B said:

Mins showed the payment the day before, that’s why I made this post.
To give people a heads up.2 -
Can't see that. They simply can't process all the payments in one go. They have clearly said that, for this group (income based DWP benefit claimants), they expect to make most payments from 14th to 31st July.Adrian_T_B said:..
