I’m on UC and no sign of anytime yet. I bank with Monzo and get it a day early so I’ll keep checking for the notification.

    UC, Barclay's, nothing yet.

[Someone on Twitter who refuses to believe they'll get it because they use all of their UC for rent and not other income had a right go at me when their payment wasn't in the bank just past midnight!
It was the first full-on case of 'I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you' I've encountered 'in the wild', so to speak - eye-opening how someone can misunderstand every attempt at simple, clear explanation, just taking the key words of each sentence and interpreting them as personal attacks for not being able to work  O.o ]

This is only the first payment date. The aim is to get most payments made by 31st July. A little patience is required.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.

That's shocking! I'm sorry you received such abuse! It's incredible really just how many people have asked about this but the criteria is so simple to understand. I just don't get why so many people are confused.

At first it was almost amusing, but thinking about the reality of trying to live like that is actually horrifying so overall I just feel very sorry for her.  I hope she's nicely surprised when it does turn up, anyway.

I was expecting all hell to break loose when people did not get a payment straight away on the 14th.

Most of mine will be towards my gas and the rest electric.   I have a bill due this month for gas as the meter read last month, but I am in credit.
