I did the same when I switched over this year. Just drop them a message or call and they should be quite accommodating. They were for me.

I'm on the octopus go rate for my electricity (E7 as I have an electric car) and consider myself quite clued up with regards to the current situation with electricity prices but not gas...

My gas is on the flexible rate at 7.22p per kwh and a SC of 27.22p. Should I be fixing my gas now too?

Have you looked at tracker v3 for gas? Capped at 11p kWh more knowledgeable people on here than me can comment on this but it's worth a look and better than any fix rate Octopus offer for gas.

If you mean the referal bonus, you can add it into your online account once you set it up. I tried to do it over the phone after I'd joined and they couldn't without email address of referrer.

I'm not sure why people keep perpetuating the myth that Octopus aren't accepting new customers. They have never stopped, they just require a phone call. I'd also suggest that Go is currently the cheapest fix out there, as long as you have an EV.
I emailed Octopus and got a reply following day.
I m now a customer of Octopus after a 17 day wait  but they put you on their capped rate .I have tried to join Tracker from within their app but that appears to have failed so I may have to phone anyway.
I `m having second thoughts about going on Tracker as the latest electric has been over the capped rate lately .
I have got two referral fees in the offing and that is one of the main reason to join them as well as getting away from two SOLR, in EDF and Eon.

Let us know how you get on as this may be very helpful to others stuck with other suppliers now offering no "cheaper than October" way of getting energy.

I wasn't able to join tracker online, neither on the tracker page or from my account as I was getting an error. One agent said they had been having technical issues and it was also mentioned that as I was a new customer my account wasn't completely set up yet and that was likely why I couldn't see any tarriffs to choose from online. I called them and got on tracker V3.

Can someone be on this (inbound) octopus agile tariff to get 35p units and also be on the (outbound) outgoing agile tariff to get paid for exporting units?
Yes, what you cannot do though is combine Agile Outgoing with one of the EV tariffs.

I mean the 13p daily discount for being a loyal customer...
