It's 5 hours, and ours begins at 20:30 (The earliest you could choose from) until 01:30, but from memory you could choose your period to start up to 22:30, could've been later.
Overnight timer immersion heater becomes a potential cost saver in that case.

And washing machine and dishwasher overnight too, if they can be scheduled, and aren't too noisy!

How long are the off peak periods (and what time slots), on Go and Go Faster?
Go is four hours from 0030-0430.
    Go Faster has a choice of slots, 4 hours from 2130 / 2230 / 2330 / 0130 / 0230 or 5 hours from 2130 / 2230 / 2330 / 0130. There used to be 3 hour options too but those don't seem to be on offer at present.

They are currently looking for new customers to switch only if they would save by switching compared with being on SVR with existing supplier.

New customers best to say that have seen that Octopus Tracker v3 is currently cheaper than SVR and expected to also be cheaper than SVR after 1 October.

If it helps anyone, I just said that I understood that I would be paying the same, but that I was dumped on EDF due to SOLR and I was keen to move for better customer service. I had zero problem becoming a new customer of Octopus. I managed to get on the Tracker V3 today.

Whilst some people have been able to switch to Octopus without it being apparent they were switching to a cheaper tariff, others have clearly been getting turned down for that reason by email and by phone which mirrors what Octopus say when people initially attempt to get online quote

I don’t know if it’s a different team or what but I’ve always found direct messaging Octopus on Twitter to be a much better experience. I’ve had pretty quick responses via Twitter messaging and the staff generally seem more knowledgable.

Initial Twitter reply last month to someone who messaged asking to switch ( must be preferred Octopus policy), I suggested to him he persevere and he did get switched

Hmm now I'm curious whether the renewal I've been offered will be the same 20:30 start and 5 hour period we're on now.

The renewal email makes no mention of times, only rates. The wording would suggest we'd stay on the same start time and 5 hour period.

Was that by emailing then rather than calling?
