Cheers all. I'll have a play about with our usage figures and work out if it's beneficial staying on Go Faster, or if any potential savings made by the off-peak rate will be destroyed by the SC.Pennies holding up the Pounds.1

My electric is Octopus Go March 2022 v1 47.86p/day 35.05 7.5 until June 23, how does this compare with Agile?, stay or switch peeps?

Like me logib you need to factor in your usage and savings during off-peak against what you'd pay for the same usage and lower SC on agile for the same period to see if it's worth the switch, as the SC on Go Faster is over double that of Agile.
We've managed to switch a third of our electricity usage to the off-peak period to date, and I know we could do more if we were stricter.Pennies holding up the Pounds.0 -
How long are the off peak periods (and what time slots), on Go and Go Faster?0
-
It's 5 hours, and ours begins at 20:30 (The earliest you could choose from) until 01:30, but from memory you could choose your period to start up to 22:30, could've been later.Pennies holding up the Pounds.0

I’m on Go Faster but was not offered the chance to renew it only the SVT or Econ7.@tlcgrantham were you on E7 previously, or were they simply offering to configure your smart meter to give E7 rates?I'm curious because E7 might work for me if I can't continue on Go in September.

They are currently looking for new customers to switch only if they would save by switching compared with being on SVR with existing supplier.
New customers best to say that have seen that Octopus Tracker v3 is currently cheaper than SVR and expected to also be cheaper than SVR after 1 October.

Currently being offered the chance to renew electricity on the Go Faster tariff:
Peak unit rate: 35.66p / kWh
Off-peak unit rate: 7.50p / kWh
Standing charge: 41.39p / day
