Looks like I switched just in time for it to peak lol. Electricity at 35p cap all day last couple of days and gas @ 10.99p today.
oh well, I suspect I'll be happy come October to see those rates, no doubt.1 -

This train is about to leave the station based on recent Octopus tweets.
Grab Agile before it becomes Agile V2 and Tracker v3 before it becomes tracker v4
I am extremely disappointed neither of these made it in the following "Is it worth it fixes" by Martin Lewis and his team. Being as his team read this forum I have to question why it hasn't been included for the past month!

These aren't true fixes.
Albeit they have so far behaved like fixes.
MSE would be in for quite a roasting if they were recommending these to less casual website users, and Octopus then change the terms.0 -
They are fixed capped for 12 months and even hitting their cap rates lower than traditional fixes being offered by Octopus
I disagree and they should have been advertised as money saving by Martin Lewis and the team here. There have been many posts on this forum about these products but they haven't picked them up.
Lots of Octopus members will have lost out.
They certainly didn't rule out fixes in their table with Utility Warehouse with its need to take on two other products and not quite a traditional fix. They should have included these products
All IMO👍1 -

Likewise the method used to calculate the daily/TOU cost can be changed (with notice), so also is not fixed.
The cap is also not explicitly mentioned in any specific terms for Tracker or Agile, albeit it is stated on the website.
And Octopus have stated via Twitter the cap could change.
So IMO, while they currently look like, and behave like fixed, the rates and caps are not fixed.3 -
Absolute rubbish IMO. They are fixed caps well below the projected 14-15p for gas and 43-45p for electricity this October.
The fact they have been ignored by the "deals" team at MSE is a disgrace IMO
We have differing views here which I accept👍1
