@f0xh0les ๐๐๐ love it!!
NSD#8
Another sunny day, but a cooler breeze. Did exercises before breakfast & made packed lunches for today & tomorrow. A good day at work, a different routine & I covered 3 breaktimes, so lots of circuits of the playground made. Gave feedback to a teacher at the end of the day, she's trying to sort it so that I can attend the pupil's review meeting next week. Never usually get invited, despite being the main person who works with the pupil, so makes sense to be involved!
Did the ironing when I got home, then after tea I tackled the gigantic frog & reduced the waistband of the second pair of trousers (7" again!!), Was a tiny bit quicker this time but still took over 2 hours to do!
Grateful for getting the trousers done & out the way, calming pupil when others couldn't, laughs with members of staffUse it up, wear it out

Evening Turtles. Another NSD for me today. Dropped a big bag of too big clothes (embarrassingly some with labels still on) to the cs meaning I canโt ever be a size 16 again! Made a chicken pie for tea and cleaned and hoovered the car which was full of twigs from OH last trip to the tip. Walked to meet OH from the station, so made my 10000 steps today but my legs are feeling it so painkillers and heat pad deployed.
Today I am grateful for naughty kitten finally getting the hang of recall so I can get him in from the garden when I want, 5 out of the 6 solar lights still working when I got them out and OH giving me his last rolo!

@f0xh0les that bridge is a bit smaller than I expected ๐คฃ
As usual I am way too absent, but love this thread.
Gratitudes are reading this thread , itโs so uplifting, my MSE friends and for MrWW buying me a little wooden house from the hobby place that I really want to decorate (but have to wait for delivery).

Hahahaย f0xh0les!!
I am doing terrible with NSDs. Bf and I both did coordinated top up shops and diff places yesterday. But now we have all we need probably for next week too.
Also we booked flights to Alicante and then a couple of days later a new train operator opened up a route with cheap tickets. Oh well.ยMeditation done. Yest was my rest day from exercise so walked to cl@rks to try on boots in the sale. Couldnโt decide between two pairs so left them all there in the end. They were pricey but ย think. would have lasted. Will investigate some more options this weekend.ยGrateful for having a laugh with colleagues yest, for managing to sleep in the same bed as bf despite the snoring, for fresh raspberries.ยStudent loan ยฃ5655

On Tuesday I tackled the cube shelves without moving the bed. Difficult but did a good job and very happy with the result - 2 temporary boxes into the recycling, stuff moved from the wardrobe, other shelves and downstairs. Moved onto the bookshelves and everything came apart. Couldn't get the little peg shelf supports into the holes I wanted, fumbled and lost them, back of the bookcase was peeling away and then stuff cascaded off and fell on me.
Retreated but had another go before I got in bed (before I could get in bed). Used another couple of boxes, moved some books to places I'd moved cube boxes from and it all looks wonderfully calm and tidy when I'm in bed. If I'm not in bed I can see all the leftover mess. Have been peering in bags and have about 3 bags worth of kitchen items including 3 of the pasta bowls (from when I told DS3 to rescue things before the cleaner could throw them) and at least one bag of diy stuff (have removed the lump hammer and bolster chisel which are very heavy but most of the rest is screws and other gubbins which will need picking through and sorting (the drawer they belong in is there).
Yesterday my helper elf came and we moved 2 carloads of garden stuff including 2 sets of shelves, both of which will stay in the garden. We filled mum's brown bin with squashed plastic bottles (momentary regret as I will need some but need space more for now) and filled a bag for the black bin. Have found a tool to dismantle the polytunnel frame. Helper is coming back sometime in the next few days but will leave it to my niece to decide which day is best for her (she's feeling that her mum has pushed her out as chief elf, so want to include her).ย
Was very tired, asleep soon after 9 pm, woke at 6am for teeth and pills, then slept again until nearly 9am. Hoping for a gentle domestic day, baby steps, purposeful pottering, gentle progress.
Grateful for helper elves, not being married (acted as therapist for elf as she recounted her latest USA visit in full), tidy bookshelves, cube shelves, easy food, not spending money (topped up my phone yesterday but otherwise no money spent for several days - too exhausted to move).

Joining this thread late but hoping to keep up the good work into next month (at least)
Thanks @apple_muncher for creating
Just looked through my accounts and I've done 5 no spend days so far this month ... not sure I'll make 16 but I'll try!
Today I'm grateful
- that I'm on track to hit my weight goal for this month
- I'm seeing a good friend later
- the coffee I made this morning was perfect (might not seem like much but it makes all the difference!)

I'll number you up for the last stretch of April. This morning I managed to fill my travel mug with lovely hobtop coffe, to then knock it over and lose it all ๐คช. I wasn't impressed with myself! I know how a good coffee can set the day off aright.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!8
