Hugs Kerry_Woman.
I've not done much for the past few days. Fighting the urge to hide under the bedclothes - there may be a time for that but it's not now. Have managed to do one or two things each day - not a lot but it will all add up in the end - quite a bit of front room and kitchen floor done and lots of rubbish picked up - every time I take a bag (or bits to the bin bag) to the bin I gather up scraps from whatever I can see. The more I clear, the next lot becomes visible (DS3 and Beloved leave things in the most peculiar places). My little corner of worktop and the top of the cooker are very nearly clear - of course they both need scrubbing.
Leisure time for the past few days has been 'virtual shopping' - browsing wooden toys and cute baby clothes (no frills, lots of rainbows, pirates and elephants - and dinosaurs of course). lots of reading, some embroidery (progress) until I went cross-eyed (hate having to follow the pattern all the time, hate fancy lettering even if the end result is pretty).
Some time outside every day - someone has stolen my garden chair (the one I sit on), so I sat on the cobble wall, chopping ivy into small pieces. It had rained overnight so I couldn.t dig out the last batch of soil, loosened the night before (well I could have but it would have taken 4 times as long.
Grateful for just doing a bit every time I'm on my feet, every extra handful of rubbish outof the house, good books (large print, easier on my eyes), plans (making sure I know what I want, rather than doing something that will need changing again in 2 months). My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage10 -

Back to business today.
Up early and made porridge for OH, DS, and I. Then got DS washed and dressed for nursery, as well as getting myself into a presentable state (don't want the other Mums talking about me). After throwing DS into nursery, I rushed home for a work call. I've spent a lot of time on screen today, but I got a good number of tasks done.
It was going to be a NSD until the electrician called to say he could come over 'now' instead of Thursday to fix one of our shelf lights that came crashing down over the weekend.
Grateful today for Mum being back helping with DS, for electrician coming early to fix light (even though he spoiled my NSD), and for the beautiful sunny day that has dried and ironed my washing for me.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸12 -
Evening Turtles. Sorry have been awol for a couple of days. Another 3 NSDs over Easter and no chocolate eaten apart from a square of OH’s hot cross bun chocolate (for research purposes only) I can confirm it was rather lovely, but I have been on a diet for the last 18 months so maybe I am not the best person to give an opinion.
Dad and sister came for Sunday lunch and DD and DS2 rolled out of their pits and attended at a time previously unheard of for them. Every one was pleased with their Easter bags (sent DS1 some money so he didn’t feel left out) Whilst laying the table discovered I only have 11 forks out of the 24 I should have. DS2s bedroom yielded another 3 so I can only assume the rest have been thrown into takeaway bags (DS2s gf brings one every time she visits) and chucked in the bin.
OH and I went for a couple of long walks so I have burnt off the calories from the square of chocolate.Today I am grateful for Dad giving me a rather posh set of brand new cutlery he had (fork count now 20) him finally admitting that he may have to give up driving and DS2 getting a job interview.9 -
Today I am grateful for progress on mending the bin cupboard sill, for pro bull riding, for being ready for my return to work tomorrow, for my slow cooker, for fresh water.

wfh so nothing really to spend on. I did do an online clothes shop that arrived today but everything is being returned. The clothes did me no favours (I know I know it’s not the clothes)!! I was supposed to be being healthy today but to much half opened treats to finish off. Lasted until 6pm then gave in!! It’s my birthday soon and I keep think no point doing anything about it until after that but I think I need to reign it in from now until then so I’m no worse than I am now!
Grateful for:
- A good footy match on tv tonight as nothing else decent on tv
- an easy day

Hi
Acheived an NSD today. Not done much other than wfh, friend came round at lunch and pumped up my bike tyres (i asked if i could borrow her pump as couldn't find mine) while i was on a work call, went for a quick bike ride after work, did some of my PT jobs, sold a freestanding mirror on Fb. Not sure what TV you like @BadBookkeeper but i'm enjoying the Thief, his Wife and a Canoe on ITV
Gratitudes - helpful friend, sitting in the sunshine at lunch with friend, light nights so i can get out on my bike, people turning up to buy things when they said they would
