Thanks for the free bus info @ldee2111, DS2 has a new Young Scot card with this facility on it, but didn't know DS3 qualified too.
Had a lovely day. Went for a walk with DH after breakfast, we went a slightly different route today for a change, & racked up just over 6 miles! Then whilst having a few minutes rest, I looked on my phone, & a friend had tagged me on a selling page, about someone giving away firewood. DS1 came with me to collect it, he enjoyed being driven for a change, & learnt some new roads too. He also helped me unload it into the wood store afterwards. Had a snuggle with the cat on the settee, then sewed a small memory bear. Must admit, it looks quite cute!
Watched a film with DH & finished knitting the neckband of my jumper. It just needs seeing up now & I can move on to my next project 😃
Grateful for a nice walk with hubby & seeing a Robin (his favourite bird) en route, free firewood & a chatting & driving with DS1Use it up, wear it out

Also forgot to mention all the lambs we saw! Loved to see them walking on their shaky legs, bleating for their mum 🥰

Today I am grateful for the neighbourhood cats not digging up my newly sown seeds last night, for dc doing all the right things when they had a burnout, for finding the correct info to log on re payslips, for getting more prep done, for salad, good strong coffee and dark chocolate.

Happy Easter! I hope you've all had a good day. Loved seeing the honeycomb @ditty1234, aren't bees clever?!
Had another lovely day. Took photos of the finished memory bears while the sun was out. After breakfast I went a walk with DH, we went a slightly different way up a farm track & came out next to the church on a hill & a graveyard. We decided to go in & pay our respects to a lady he used to work with. He'd gone to the funeral years ago, but the graveside bit was family only.
When we got home it was nearly time for DS1 to come home with my mum. Spent a happy afternoon watching scrimping programmes on yootoob & sewing up my jumper. It looks great, but it is too big for me, as I'd used thicker wool, but fits mum perfectly, so I gave it to her. Mum's sister phoned, then my brother. Picked some daffodils for mum to take home with her (her favourite), & also some to drop off to a friend with a card, as her SiL passed away last night after a long illness.
Grateful for a new route (& I found £5 on the ground there!), time with mum, inspiring programmesUse it up, wear it out

Morning turtles
Yesterday was a NSD. Had a super productive day - shifted stuff out of my bedroom, DD1 and her boyfr came round and moved the furniture for me then i began the slow process of putting stuff back. The layout is much better now and i'm not filling it back up with clutter! I will store stuff in the spare room and sort it a bit at a time. Recycled and shredded loads of paperwork, my PT jobs generate lots of paper, some is confidential so has to be shredded. Found DDs' first shoes so have put them on my chest of drawers to enjoy looking at rather than hidden away in a box.
DD1 and boyfr cooked a roast and did most of the washing up!
I spent 20 minutes outside pulling up weeds and neighbour came round and mowed the lawn for me.
Even though i have a lovely calm bedroom I couldn't sleep! Legs and feet were aching, back was aching, stubbed my toe and got about 5 bruises on my legs from bashing into stuff. Lovely to wake up in a tidy room though
Gratitudes - DD1 and boyfr being so helpful; neighbour mowing lawn; having a quiet end to the day with wine and chocolate

Hope everyone enjoys the bank hol. I’m back to work today!!
Yesterday we walked to a different part of town to see if a posh slice of tortilla was tastier than we can get in our neighbourhood. It wasn’t, but wasn’t that pricey either. Then walked to ventas to see the bullring. Not a fan of what goes on in there but the building itself very impressive. Finished off the day with a slice of cheesecake and some ice cream.bf then got a takeaway but I had my HM cauli cheese soup.hoping for an NSD today!! Grateful for my job, for it finally being warm enough not to wear a coat to work, for a lovely weekend full of eating and drinkingStudent loan £5655
