Realised I forgot to mention my outings progress. Usually, I don't have any that are purely for myself, so I guess that's why I forgot! I actually have 4 within the next 8 days. Eek. 2 are catch ups with friends I've not seen for a while, and 2 are coffees with 'new' friends- one is a dance mum who has a child at dc's school, the other is a mum whose child I used to teach and who is in practically the same situation as us with their child.Add in parents evenings, mock exams again, dentist, Dr, eyes, counselling and possibly a day-long seminar, (as well as all the stuff dc does) and it is a busy month.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!10

Morning turtles!
Thanks for the reminder apple I will go back and check my goals.I have managed my meditation, morning pages and exercise this week although I still have sore muscles from a class on Monday!
Didn’t eat particularly well this week, mainly bc bff didn’t cook during the week (he works from home) and we ended up eating sandwiches and chips for tea.
not doing well on NSDs, but as I paid for the Granada trip bff should be paying for spends while there.Grateful to be healthy, to have the luxury of time and being able to travel.

Afternoon turtles, haven't posted for a couple of days but all relatively quiet. Work is ticking along nicely, have seen my payslip for next month and the emergency tax is still an issue despite me getting a letter from HMRC saying it should be sorted. Luckily the impact isn't too bad so should be fine.
Have had a couple of small spends but nothing crazy or exciting for that matter! Budget is looking good for the rest of the month.
Had today off work as I worked overtime last weekend. Woke up at 5.15 though with some heartburn, was also really hot in bed which kept me awake for ages. Have been for a swim and have some housework and painting to do if I can get off the sofa again!
Grateful for prepping my lunches for next week already, a good swim this morning, and hopefully a nap this afternoon.10 -

Evening turtles
Went to my self employment job this morning, was a good meeting and i ate 4 biscuits oops! On the way home I stopped off and did a small shop in t0sco and walked into town, bought liquid soap in the zero waste shop and reusable cleansing pads for DD2's birthday. Finally made it into the library and got a new library card.
Did some work this afternoon and tidied up. Hosted my book group this evening so put the heating on for a couple of hours!
Walked 11k steps today.
Gratitudes - nice end to the working week; a quiet half an hour reading; lovely evening with friends

A very tricky morning at work. Spent a couple of hours this afternoon in the office, cutting out information cards, whilst a pupil told me & a colleague scary stories. We then had to give them a rating on a poop our pants scale of 1-10! 😂 Certainly cheered us up! I'm still smiling at a boy in a story, grinning with no lips!!
Pottered about a bit before tea, then spent the evening knitting, eating chocolate, & watching a film
Grateful for my two best work friends, a cosy fire, pupil's 'scary' storiesUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!

I was a cleaning dervish yesterday, you would have been proud of how much I accomplished in very little time. I now have 8 more mugs and 2 glasses back on the ground floor (the ban on crockery upstairs is not working). Also went out and bought loo roll (Farm of Frozen F00ds 4x18 rolls for £15). Roasted a huge pan of veg, did laundry and stuck to the diet (it was day 1
) Then binged all of Tr1gg3r p01nt last night and this morning. Cleaned the kitchen, did more laundry, did a tiny annoying shop of forgotten things, and went and looked in a c/s and did not buy anything.
We are going to watch the new P1card, and Encant0 tonight with h/m popcorn.Jobs for tomorrow include a trip to the recycling centre (aka the tip) and the second hand furniture emporium. Might be spendy, might not, all depends on if they have what I want. I am getting very good at walking out without buying anything.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Evening Turtles. Remembered to have an outing so me and OH went to a town a little way along the coast and walked along the seafront and pier and had an ice cream. I still find it a huge novelty to go somewhere without children! This morning I made some tear and share bread for dinner and a crumble to use up some ancient frozen fruit (which I won’t be eating as I am determined to lose my last stone before I go on holiday in July).Today I am grateful for a beautiful sunny day, being able to walk 5 miles without my foot hurting again and time spent with OH on our own for a change.9
