Today I am grateful for dc going to school, for cracking the marking that's been hanging over me for a coup!e of weeks (spent about 4 hours on it today; about 45 mins left), for hyacinths showing their colours, for dh's idea saving me a couple of hours of waiting around.

Achieved my goal of 5000 steps.

Evening
Feels a long week already and apparently it's still only Tuesday (well Weds now i suppose).
Did my day job, tried to get ahead with something but didnt work so that's another job for tomorrow. Went to PT job #1 this eve, have to drive a longer route due to a road closure so picked up colleague on the way. Left at 10pm, dropped off colleague and decided to go to t0sco as i was driving right past it (good use of time and petrolSpent on a few things i'd run out of and got some bread for the freezer - no YS bargains, even the fresh bread was still full price
Also got petrol.
Haven't moved much and f1tb!t needs charging, so it won't shame me with my low step count.
Did manage to do a few surveys that were quite lucrative
Had a shock at broadband/phone bill till i read back on previous emails to see they hadn't charged me last month due to changeover of supplier, phew
Gratitudes - good meeting this eve; seeing DD1 between jobs; nice man in t0sco going into the warehouse bit of the store to find me some frozen raspberries
Hugs abundant and anyone else in need or want of one
good luck with your new job calling

Yesterday was a bit disappointing. Carried on with the probate application, entered brother's email account, then found his postcode - going swimmingly until I needed him to 'sign' the legal declaration. Couldn't face talking my brother through the stages of finding his email, opening it and signing.
Had started the day in pain and continued to find more throughout the day (some obviously through carrying things on Sunday but think I'd 'pulled' something -kept getting a stabbing pain just below my shoulder blade). Did manage to toddle to Morries and back in the late afternoon so have drinks, salad items and a few bits that go with things I already have.
However was very stiff and slow this morning and also discouraged. S-i-l arrived as planned and we've moved more stuff to my house (predictably everything was as we left it - DS3 had not moved any of my stuff upstairs). I went for my dolly truck to move all their drinks into the yard but heput some clothes on and moved them as requested. getting a man and van tomorrow isn't going to happen (will check availability).
Did the last charity shop run (still have a few food bank items and have started a Ukraine bag) then reloaded the car with things s-i-l was taking away -chest of drawers, lots of food and some kitchen gadgets (manual only), more garden ornaments, all the cacti and their pots. She even took some of the plastic bottles as her bin was emptied yesterday. The kitchen and bathroom are ready for cleaning (just waiting for my body to catch up). Made a start on the outside tidy up but going to have a relaxing rest of the day.
Younger niece is at my brother's doing some of his decorating so s-i-l phoned her about brother's email. Document already signed, she checked his email as soon as she arrived. Back to probate forms, nearly at the end, paid then they had technological difficulties and could not do the final submission. Tried since but still having problems. However having someone IT competent at brother's house will help. Had planned to sleep at home tonight but think it will be tomorrow (phone and internet get turned off after tomorrow so not much point being here).
Will have a final push on the paperwork when my back stops hurting and try to get ahead for tomorrow (niece and s-i-l here). some letters for brother to sign (can be dropped off when s-i-l picks up my niece). Parcel up things to be sent off by post.
Grateful for helper elves, books, the bed, good food, finding homes for things with people who need or love them.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage12 -

Hi turtles, have some more hugs abundant.
had a very slow start to the day, could not focus at all, very tired and headachey and so ended up working through half my lunch to finish something. Not going to make a habit of it but it took some pressure off. Going to sleep on sofa tonight to avoid bff’s snoring (don’t think I slept much the first half of last night)
bff also ruined my planned nsd today sneaking bread and crisps onto our joint credit card. But I’ll forgive him as I’m actually really looking forward to having some fresh bread tonight.
grateful for having a comfy sofa to retreat to when the foghorn gets too much, for getting most of my work done, for a good gym workout.Student loan £5655

Evening Turtles. NSD 2 today, yay! Made some hobnobs and an apple cake to try to fill DS2 up. Yesterday he had his dinner then reappeared 2 hours later and had another dinner. A couple of hours after that DD caught him eating a sandwich whilst waiting for his 4 slices of toast to pop, then in the night he had used all of the pancake mixture I had left him in the fridge probably eating the rest of the lemon cake I made yesterday while he waited. He is 6’5” and thin as a rake, makes me sick! In other news, naughty kitten has now realised he can get on the worktop and hoover up anything left up there. At any given time of day there is either a child or animal in my kitchen browsing the fridge or worktop. Found a cat in the fridge a while ago eating a (clingfilmed) plate of cooked chicken as DS2 had a habit of banging the fridge door and walking off not noticing it had rebounded. My new kitchen has a built in fridge/freezer so that can’t happen now.Today I am grateful for a lovely sunny day, making the time for a freezer inventory and a message from DS1 in Canada.12
