@abundant1972 take care xxI am up to 2 NSDs - I think! Spendy one today as I ordered compost for the garden, and OH ordered firewood.Had an email from the energy company I was allocated to when my chosen company went bust. My Direct Debit is going up to £162 per month for now, and may go up again in April
Just checked online banking, and in July last year it was £71, and I was never in arrears. Scary. I must think of additional ways to save power.
Spent a couple of hours this morning taking everything out of the fridge, wiping it all down, and putting all the food back. Identified a couple of things that needed using up asap and have done that today. No food waste here if at all possible. Chopped up some sliced antipasti meats from Lidl that OH wanted and then only ate a little of, and half a jar of sun dried tomatoes, along with an onion, and used them up in a pasta bake. Made a cheese sauce to hold it all together. It was tasty and filling, made from items that some might have thrown away, and there is a bit left for lunch tomorrow.Grateful today for seeing the sun (though it is also cold and windy), having the skills to make a meal out of bits and pieces, and the dog being better after having been poorly last week. I have to ring the vet tomorrow (must remember) as he will probably need more medication. Another bill!11 -
Someone on tv yesterday said that the average family in the UK throws away 40% of their weekly shop. Who could afford to do that week in, week out? Utter madness.

greent - Belated birthday wishes.
Calling - Best wishes for your job.
NSD 6 today. On annual leave yesterday and today. Yesterday I walked 5K in park, submitted evidence to company who does different types of medals, so that I can get the St Patrick's Day medal. I managed it ok, but I am so unfit. Did walk through the park this morning to go to underground station as I went to an event in London. I have to book the rest of my annual leave that I have before the end of March, as am unable to carry it over.
Grateful for:
Contact with family.
Attending event in London and managed to get some freebies.

Hugs, birthday wishes, and general all round good vibes to everyone.
I can't believe some people waste 40% of their food, it's crazy if that's the norm? I've forgotten about dairylea spread a couple of times and it's gone mouldy and I feel guilty about that haha.
Bit of a quiet start to the week, have got a few little frogs ticked off the list. Had physio yesterday and feeling it today. Managed a nice swim this evening, glad I went as I've not been for ages. Got some more cheap muffins on my too good to go app (no food waste here!), popped them all in the freezer. Bought some foil and baking paper from wilko, returned some library books and exchanged them for new ones. Shopping delivery later, have to say a bottle of wine may have snuck into the basket but I'm on budget so I'll allow it on this occasion.12 -

Blowing a hoolie today on our island. Work was a bit tricky at times, but went for a short walk with a colleague afterwards. Certainly blew the cobwebs away! Did some knitting when I got home whilst watching a film, shortened 2 more dresses after tea. Listed a couple of items on eboy. Just waiting for my turn in the bath now...
Grateful for a windy walk, a very happy customer, learning how to do a new pupil assessment at workUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
