Everyone’s gratitude lists remind me of mine! I am also loving the snowdrops and crocus popping up and seeing the daffodil greenery shooting up…and I’m eternally grateful for Netflix! Today I was also grateful for a delicious galaxy orange bar I enjoyed with my coffee 😋Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I so do not know how you do it!!
Today was going to be a pottering day, sorting paperwork and preparing stuff that needs to be posted off. However yesterday evening my ex s-i-l phoned to say she was bringing some things to her parents house and could do another run to my house with my books. So packed all my cube boxes (one layer of cans and books on top). She arrived sooner than expected and had brought my younger niece so they made short work of loading the car.
DS3 had got my message and was wearing a t-shirt and joggers. Gave him instructions to take the boxes up to my room and to put his and Beloved pop cans under the stairs (instead of blocking the doorway). We did a second run with the remaining cube boxes and anything that was ready to move and I persuaded them to take the sewing table and the footstool plus a couple of bags of food and some of the baking cupboard contents. They will also take the 5 drawer chest of drawers. S-i-l is going to come again on Wednesday by which time I should have sorted all the remaining bits (My bookshelves are now empty so can sort all the 'bits' (remaining toiletries, sewing bits, cooking ingredients) onto the shelves - scoop up armfuls of stuff and sort.
On Thursday niece and s-i-l are coming and we will move what we can. Need to speak to niece as we talked about a man and van but not sure who's organising it and what we're doing - hospital bed is going to s-i-l's parents, most of the rest to my house or niece's but not sure if the 3 of us could carry stuff upstairs (I have trouble getting myself up stairs) at niece's or if we will have to wait until her friend has a day off.
Need to spend at least half a day at my house, moving furniture to where I want it and want to tidy/ clear the side of the house as it's easier to take larger items out through the patio doors at the back rather than through multiple doorways.
Have cut up 2 old sheets for cleaning rags but am currently having a well deserved rest.
Grateful for lots of help, visit from puppy, good food using up odds and ends, solving a few 'difficult' items of furniture (s-i-l will take the recliner and the other armchair if brother doesn't want them), and relaxing. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage11 -
Grateful for a lazy morning drinking tea in bed with the sun coming in through the balcony doors, for having fresh water to drink, for hazelnut coffee, for moments when I realise that life is to be enjoyed xxStudent loan £5655

You put my efforts to shame @mothernerd . Have you decided whether to sell or if you/your baby bro is going to move in?I have spent all morning trawling for jobs, how desperately dull!! I know, and folded and returned all the laundry. Doing more laundry now. This afternoon I will make something nice, put it in the oven, and wash the kitchen and dining room floors (dullness piled on top of dullness here today) and then I will reward myself with the nice baked something or other, as a kind of danger money for nearly boring myself to death with mundane household chores. If I did it every week it would not get into such an awful state, so really I only have myself to blame for being such a lazy madam.P/A is not paying out this weekend due to tech difficulties, so I am now up to £15+ due for payout on Monday. I might use it as my c/shop fun money.DS1 just left, so I am off scrubbing and will get the rest of the laundry out on the marvellous invention called 'The Washing Line'. What will they think of next?4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Had a nice day today, OH and I went to see my share pony, I rode and OH ran next to us, we had quite a bit of fun. Came home and did more painting in the hallway. Have had a bath and am settling down with an early dinner.
Was on call this afternoon, but didn't have to do much other than make a couple of calls and send a few emails. I get next Friday off for being on call this weekend which will be nice.
Grateful for my first horse ride for a while, spending time with OH, a quiet afternoon.8 -
Today I am grateful for a quiet morning, for finding a strongman competition on utube and casting it to the telly, for watching next door's new kitten cutely wobbling uncertainly along the top of the fence, for getting some eye pieces sewn together, for my sandbag, for tech.
