Evening everyone, I hope you had a nice weekend. Another update from me.
Work - planned tomorrow out, hoping to get a few February month end jobs completed.
Family - DS played his footy match today DH both went which was nice and my Dad also came to watch. They won and DS played really well so smiles all round! Came home had bacon butties then went to a new golf driving range to watch DH & DS. I would usually stay home & iron but did that later on and got out to enjoy the sunshine ☀️
Physical health - struggle with this at weekends, called into our local shop for hot dog rolls and somehow doughnuts came home!
Savings - DH & I are saving for Florida 2024 or 2025. I’m wondering whether to put these savings into premium bonds to keep out of sight.
NSD - still 2/16
Grateful for -
DS team winning match & my Dad coming to watch.

Another sunny day, but a frosty start. Was outside for 3 hours this morning, I dug over the biggest raised bed, then got in amongst the huge gooseberry bush, & pruned it. Haven't done this for a few years & last year it was decimated by sawfly 😓 hopefully this will prevent it happening again this year 🤞
Read my book whilst eating dinner, then had a nap. Feet still cold, so put on another pair of socks, then started sewing. Had to remove sleeves from a dress, then insert a small panel to make it wider near the side zip. Did all the ironing, then a soak in the bath.
Grateful for phone chat with a neighbour, a beautiful day, more jobs completedUse it up, wear it out

Hiya, here’s my update for today:
Work - Good busy day, lots achieved.
Family - Part of our routine is Monday is ds homework day. I make sure I’m available to help. He got upset tonight as he’d mis read the question and got it totally wrong. I hated telling him and by the time he’d calmed down and understood what he’s supposed to do any enthusiasm from both of us had gone! So that’s that until next week. He gets 3 pieces a term to do so we’re ok time wise!
Physical Health - Did my little walk before work, ate healthy all day but had a few shandies tonight which have taken me over my calories.
Finance - Made an additional payment to bcard to keep on track for DFD. Books updated.
NSD 3/16Grateful for:
productive work day

Another very frosty morning. Work went well. Left quite sharpish, so dropped the bear off to the prize winner, then instead of having a nap (very tempting), I put some of the non selling eboy items in the donation bag, then updated budgets. Shortened & sewed 6 dresses after tea, 2 left still to do
Grateful for a nice day, good books, getting stuff doneUse it up, wear it out
