NST March 2022: March movement
Welcome to March. To a new month, to a fresh look at what we
can control and change. Welcome
to the turtle gang. We are flexible. We are creative. We do not lie down (for too
long, anyway) and give up. We have flippers! We have turtle power! We sometimes
wear capes. Or even lycra… And we have a naughty step (yep, it’s back!) and a
chaise longue. And we never, ever leave another turtle behind.
March is about movement.
We all have areas in our lives where we feel a bit stuck. Like things don’t change. Like things cannot be changed. Like they are all clogged up. And if you do not have any of these, please stick around and help the rest of us in our quagmire of stuckness.
March is about identifying those areas and giving them a poke, a prod, or a big hefty kick. Shift the way you look at them. Try out new ways to deal with them. And if something works, keep it going.
Which areas? Here’s a few: work, family, house, garden, life admin, happiness, mental health, physical health, emotional health, spiritual health, finances, savings, hobbies, possessions, food…
And there’s also the obvious – move your body a bit more
than you have been. Shake your booty. Dance in the rain (because it will
rain). Learn new yoga poses. Lift that heavier kettlebell. Walk a little
faster up that hill. Get the bike out. Fly a kite.
And here are some non-moving things:
-Foodbank/ charity donation of £5.
-Pay to your debt/savings FIRST and live off the rest.
-16 NSDs (unless all you buy is fuel/travel, medical needs, reduced items. And nothing else)
-Identify some sticking points to have a little poke at this month.
-Plan the month.
-Have some fun. Go on a couple of outings. But not more than 4. Unless postponed form earlier and budgeted for.
-Have a budget and stick to it.
-Keep a note of everything you spend money on, especially as prices are rising.
-Come on here daily and tell us 3 things you are grateful for.
Who will join me for a month of movement?

Make do or do without!
