Hi all,
Here’s todays update.
Family - called in to see my parents, only live up the road. My Nan had to go to a&e yesterday with breathing difficulties, so wanted to see what’s going on, she’s 90! Back home today with things to help her.
Life admin - contacted mortgage company as rate about to end. New rate is £10.37 a month cheaper. We have 11 yrs 3 months left. Our plan was to shave off the 3 months but with all other bills going up we may not.
Mental Health - Worrying times isn’t it. Not really sure how to feel better about things.
Physical Health - 2 walks today & steps achieved, still no crisps (given up until Easter).
NSD - 4/16
Grateful for:
My Nan being home

Evening turtles
Work was good, had a virtual catch up with a poorly colleague but we talked about our love of crime novels and laughed too - mostly about the ridiculousness of work ! Had a useful phone call with boss and feel like i have some good tasks to get stuck into over the next few days. Decided to book off Friday PM; am off in the morning for my self employment job but decided to take off the PM too so i can catch up on my PT and self employment jobs rather than working all weekend.
Clocked off at 5 and went for a walk. Managed 8k steps today.
Haven't spent any money
Ate from supplies; seem to have lots of treats in the freezer like portugese tarts, croissants and HM scones
Gratitudes - sunshiney walk after work; hot baths; early nights

Did a yoga routine on yootoob before breakfast this morning, haven't done one for quite a while, so very stiff!!
Work went well, had a laugh with some pupils this morning. Played C4tchphr4se with DS1 after work & I beat him 😃 he's beaten me the last two times, so I was chuffed! Sewed a chicken together after tea, then did some knitting.
Grateful for laughs with pupils, winning at C4tchphr4se, crafty makes, & the wind finally dropping when the rain started @2pm.Use it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

So we're 1/3 of the way through the month. I need to have a look back at the first post and see how things are going/ remind myself of what March is about 😂. Just because I wrote it doesn't mean I remember it all...!

S-i-l came, later than planned and without my niece (or her friend but I wasn't expecting him). However I was awake at 2 am, had a brief doze but at 4 am I gave up on sleep and started clearing/ cleaning/ packing. Done loads of filing, nearly everything is in 2 A4 files (mine and mum's).
Email early this morning to say the Probate forms had been submitted. Glad I was awake because the internet finished (at mum's house) today. Loaded up the car and moved it to my house (mostly still in the front room as I can't carry most of them upstairs). Went back to the bungalow, gathered up all the paperwork, plus the modem and door/ safety alarm (both need packaging and posting off), emptied the fridge, gave s-i-l most of the freezer contents (DS3and Beloved have filled mine) and left.
I'm home and planning to be here for the next 3 days. DS3 has moved some things upstairs so have unpacked about 5 boxes/ bags but spent most of the afternoon on the bed, reading and easing the pains in my back. Ate one of the ready meals for lunch and wanted a sandwich for tea. have kept my NSD because I went to Boots and got 2 x triple sandwiches at 50p each. Have another ready meal, second sandwich, red pepper hummus and crackers and a defrosting salmon fillet at the bottom of one of the bags (unless I put it in s-i-l's bag to feed her students). Will throw it if I think it's dodgy - already thrown half a large pot of plain yoghurt as I thought the cost was not worth the chances of it emptying all over a bag of stuff or the car.
S-i-l will call for me on Monday morning (she was willing to do Sunday as well but we both thought I need a good rest - and to try to get my house in shape to accommodate the extra furniture).
Grateful for help (she took the cacti yesterday and is going to take the rhubarb), very few 'possessions' left to move, probably one carload more garden stuff (I have instructions not to attempt to move anything on the dolly), the bed, space on the bed (had to work for it).My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage10 -
Am on 7 NSD. Was a spend day today. Did a small top up food shop after work, got weekly bus pass, put money on oyster as pay as you go as will be going into London over the weekend, tv mag and money for someone's leaving present in work. Had some extra bank shifts booked onto my rota in work(weekend), but they could be cancelled nearer the time. Not getting too stressed as I have got my contracted days and hours.
Grateful for:
Good bus connections.
Decent night's sleep.
