Quiet day, not much progress. Don't want to be here but dreading what I need to do when I get home. Everything half packed, nearly out of food and drink, just want to get the paperwork in a good place before I move. Wish it would stop raining - can't do half the stuff I want to do, if it doesn't stop raining. Difficult stuff becomes worse if it's raining.
Grateful for leftovers, use up veg, films (more second time around, some old favourites), order slowly emerging from the chaos, just getting through the day.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage10 -

Congratulations @apple_muncher, happy cuddling.
My goodness @f0xh0les, you're on fire achieving all those targets!!
You're doing great @mothernerd, remember to rest when needed.
Didn't do my exercises before work today, can't decide if it's that, going to bed earlier last night or drinking more water yesterday, that's made me not as tired today. Had a lovely day at work, more laughs with pupils & staff, & felt like I was doing some good.
Unpicked a zip once I got home & cut up some labels, all tidy now & ready for use. Replaced the zip after tea, had a nice bath with my book, then finished watching the end of another series. Small spend on TV mag & local paper (buy it week about with my mum).
Grateful for a good day, laughter, a warm fire to come home to, friends to confide in, joining in the 10mins of yoga in class pe, it's nearly the weekend 😃Use it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Thrifty, I'd love some cuddles, but they live in Australia. We still haven't met gs2 in person due to covid. One day...

No apple I had to introduce an English exam in English but I found that scary enough. Although I was a teacher for years I never got used to the feeling of loads of eyes fixed on you!I get incredibly nervous when speaking in front of people in whatever language, however although I am an introvert I thrive on the nerves and the release when it’s over, so need to keep putting myself in these situations.

Somehow it seems like my month of fives is '5 minutes extra'. As in everything taking a little longer than it should! Me being tired, exhausted, which makes me feel lazy, but I'm not sure I really am. Or what lazy means - I think somebody says that lazy is being scared of doing the wring thing, and I guess that kind of suites as htere are so many changes in my life winter that everything just takes longer and needs more consideration.
Money is ok, but I feel I am bleeding it. Got some extra money for my computer I bought over christmas so really should go straight into savings - but I prepaid some of the extra council tax because of loosing my discount, am buying ds1 his christmas present(a bit late) and am livint off the rest - so I only got to put a few drippings in savings. Prepaying the council tax felt good as it means I won't have to pay £230 in one go in March. I have also preprid my car insurance, so it will be lower from next month wiht new insurer.
So I think that is all of my bills sorted and updated for most of the next year, so now they will just tick over. Shopping has been good though - one shop has lasted me a whole week, I need to review lunches though - ds1 is generally not happy about how I organise it - need to work out how he can eat what and when he wants!
To day is my day off in my second half term 3 day weekend. So far I am celebrating by having a lie in. It is a rain storm outside and at the moment I an intent to not leave the house today!
Hope everybody is well, I am not on keeping up with reading this month. But have a great start to the weekend all.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

ditty, it sounds like you are doing so well. You have had to adapt to an incredible amount of change that impacts of everything you do and are.It may feel like you are bleeding money, but so long as you are keeping a note of it, then you are still in control. Enjoy your lie in.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!10
