Filled a paper sack yesterday and today, checked transactions in my bank (needed phone top-up details), lots of packages of photos and letters ready to go, started filling my second suitcase (all clothes out of the drawers now), sorting and condensing other items (all medicinal stuff and bandages packed in a small green first aid bag), gathered up lots of the fake flowers (one of my outings is going to be to the cemetery - will do the family graves, if I can find all four and then go in search of graves who do not get many visitors).
Phone Carer's Allowance Bereavement section as my Carer's Allowance has not been paid since January 10th - was wrong person but she was very helpful, spoke to a colleague and got them to ring me back. Arrears of over £300 will be in my bank account in 3 - days and last payment is on 10th March (bereavement payment is 8 weeks). Mainly eating from the cupboards as the freezer is nearly empty (still have kippers for niece's bf and meat scraps for brother's dog).
Grateful for cold tea for my sore eyes, finding lots of films to watch (rewatching a lot as I can do other things and not pay attention all the time), getting money sorted (couldn't work out where the money had gone, getting my accounts in order and whittling down the paperwork mountain (every time I tick something off my list, I can ditch another bundle)My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage11 -
Evening
Reasonable day at work. Popped to town at lunch and collected the bedside cabinet i bought in a CS for £5! Very happy with it. Also bought some salad and paid for exercise classes for the week. Paid for garden waste collection - first time we have to pay but going to share wheelie bin with neighbour so will get some money back. I have £12 to last till payday on friday....
Had a walk after work to get my 10k steps in; did exercise class on Fb; have eaten lots of fruit and veg - had leftover veggie roast for lunch. Have also done a few surveys. Got water rates bill - only a £7 increase for the whole year which is reasonable these days.

Gratitudes - having a productive day; nice texts with DDs; bargains in the CS; relaxing in bed watching TV drama on my laptop

weenancyinAmerica said:Idee2111 - hope you enjoy your trip to Florida. If you are thinking of getting souvenirs from Disney World, you might want to see if there is a Walmart nearby. We recommend going there for Disney shirts and other souvenirs to save money. At Disneyland, any one can order the children's menu - it should work there also. Have fun!NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸12

Morning Team Turtles.
I am on NSD 9, quite pleased! But just spent on an IRL yoga class for tomorrow at early doors. Need to get a few salad bits for taking brekkie and lunch for work tomorrow and the next day. Am still striving for 'project stamina' but gently does it.
Grateful for
- getting out for a short walk at dusk yesterday
- Meditation session yesterday and this morning

Have a great trip ldee-2111!
I am on NSD 5.
Exercise and meditation done yesterday. Did morning pages today. Morning routine is back in swing. I’ve also started watching a utube vid from someone like Green Renaissance to add a bit of positivity.
The weekend wasn’t too spendy but I may be paying for me and bff to go to Granada for the weekend as an early birthday prez for him. So that will be from the hol budget. Actually itching to update my spends but no time now. Have a wonderful day turtles xxStudent loan £5655

No spends today but have spent most of the day sorting out an issue with my previous employer. Not only did they overtax me but they also overpaid me
not that I noticed because of the extra tax but it's all come to light today and now I have to pay them back. I'd better get my tax rebate back soon!
Hoping these issues are behind me as I find it really stressful not knowing where I am financially, and I'm likely to be short for the next few months while I repay them and until HMRC reimburse me.
Have an appointment with a specialist physiotherapist tomorrow, hoping it will help!10 -
Today I am grateful for getting to the gym, for taking dc bouldering, for fruit salad, for finishing a book, for filling up with fuel that was no more expensive than anywhere else, for being able to stay warm and dry.

I'm back! I think I am on NSD6, trip to London over, trip to Ireland over, lots of half term left to chill out and get myself sorted. Far too much stress and drama going on over in my corner, so I am going to completely turtle myself over, and just ride the waves. Everyone has had their slice of me now. I need to recharge for a couple of days.Grateful to finally be home in my own bed, with 5 days left of half term, the kids saying they love me on the way home on the train, and for the fabulous free museums and libraries we have in this land, and of course, for the YH association4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Evening
welcome back f0xh0les
NSD for me today. Woke up before 6amHad a useful day WfH. Went for a walk at lunch and did exercise class on Fb this eve. Have eaten well today with about 7 portions of F&V
DD1 came round after work, they have a rescue dog and are struggling a bit - dog is very nervous and doesn't like other people or walks - thought all dogs liked walks?!! It is making DD a bit down so i'm worried about her.
Have done a couple of surveys; not used my car today and heating only on for a couple of hours this eve.
Going to have a bath and early night with 2 hot water bottles
Hope everyone is ok xx
