Another NSD for me, but hubby bought some veg at the shop. I declined the offer of a cake being bought when a friend nipped to the shop for her lunch too.
Made myself get up early to do aerobics routine before breakfast. Posted eboy sale on the way to work. Not a bad day, had lots of laughs this afternoon with 4 of us tidying the maths cupboard! Very tired this evening, did some hand sewing & unpicked a zip ready to repair tomorrow night. Phoned the garage to see if the mechanic was back at work, to do my MOT, don't want another wasted journey!!
Grateful for my backdated pay rise being in my wages today, a friend suggesting a trip to the cinema & the film is on this weekend, great hilarity, a warm bath, selling more things onlineUse it up, wear it out

Evening Turtles
NSD here. In and out all day with work, so no real opportunity to spend luckily!
Helped DS2 with a frog, he was on the wrong tax code so sat with him whilst he phoned (he is only 18) He will get a tax refund next payday, meaning he can pay me back what he owes me, so a win-win there!
Thought I would be very MSE and fit my own vinyl flooring in the kitchen. My kitchen is an L shape so obviously had to order a roll that was way too big to even fit through the door. Much hilarity then ensued as we tried to wrestle it into place. In the end we cut it into an approximate shape and put it back into DS1’s room which now houses several large unwanted items. Let’s hope he stays in Canada for a while yet. Tomorrow will see ‘return of the vinyl’ or ‘when flooring goes bad’, hope it’s the former.
Today I am grateful for a rather lovely homemade curry, sorting DS2’s tax code and my heated seat and steering wheel first thing this morning.12 -

Good Evening 🌔
Welcome back f0xh0les and have a fab time in Florida idee2111
Quick cheeky check-in before bed-time. Sorry for a no-post yesterday. I ended up getting in a pizza and some munchies. My Valentine's ended up being more of a comfort binge I'm afraid, than a 'Ilove and appreciate myself' special meal. Bloomin false economy using my free food app... had to make 2 purchases (eligible for cashback) to get free bag of giant buttons. Ended up buying a load of stuff I probably wouldn't have if I'd just gone in and bought the sodding buttons on their own haha. Still... had a Quidco cashback surprise of over £30 so I have a bit of treat money spare. Anyhow - watched Disney's 'Into The Woods' which I enjoyed!!!
Having a few days off together is nice... but am finding now I gym after work, I do !!!!!! all. Will give to the end of the month and see if I can make my new routine work out at all.
Today I am grateful for:
1) Disney + and an uplifting musical
2) Finally making a move and getting to the gym and being prepared for tomorrow
3) MyFitnessPal as it has enabled me to recoup my binge from yesterday!!!
Today was a spend day as bought a game with left-over treat money.
Night all x

Evening turtles. Spend day today, paid for physio, an automated food dispenser for the rabbits (don't ask), some shampoo and conditioner, and an aqua aerobics class booking. Went into the office, was delayed on my train home so I might do a delay repay form -get a few quid back! Had a good chat with my manager, a permanent opportunity might be coming up that I can apply for which, right now, I think would be perfect for me. Fingers crossed.

Well vinyl wrangling#2 went well and I now have flooring in my kitchen. Now if Ne@t would only send me the correct brackets for my blind (only been waiting a month) the kitchen is in danger of being finished! Had to go to Mr T’s as I seem to have mice and the cupboards had been stripped of anything vaguely edible (I suspect the mice may actually be 6’5” with hollow legs) so no NSD for me today.
Today I am grateful for OH only slicing himself on the craft knife once, actually having some plasters for a change and being warm and cosy while the storm blows outside.11 -
@abundant1972 - pity about the chocolate button saga but heyho, at least you got them which is the really important bit! I always freeze mine so they're crunchy but mind your teeth! Well done on the Quidco cash. Hopefully that made up for the buttons.
NSD#5 today so pleased with that. I never thought I'd achieve any NSD's at all!
Done my 3 days at work so glad to be off now for a few days. Bit like groundhog day there as we lurch from one crisis to the same crisis a week later with nothing solved. Glad I'm not having to try and sort it out.
Feeling so much better on my new tablets, starting to feel human again.
Hoping the storms over the next few days won't do any structural damage or bring any trees down. Was glad to get home tonight before it got too bad.
My sister goes in for a serious throat operation on Monday. She has to isolate from Friday so probably won't see her before she goes in. Just hoping it all goes well. Be good to get it done now and then we can make plans for some holidays together.
Have a nice evening Turtles! x
