Nothing spent again today, so NSD 2 / 15.I have read one of my 5 booksI have been outside for lots more than 5 minutes (dog walk plus we were finishing demolishing a wall in the garden this morning)Lots of steps, I don't count them, but walking up and down the garden with bricks, and being on my feet all afternoon at work must count for something!I have sorted out 5 items to take to the CS (next challenge is to get them there!)6

No money spent (think that's NSD 2). I have eaten all the chocolate biscuits and am now on ice cream with defrosted berries. the fun never ends here apple. On Saturday I tipped out the brown bin and I've been outside stomping on cans and separating them into black bags and found a heavy duty bag for the glass jars and bottles (both can go to the town centre recycling point) to leave more room in the brown bin for plastic bottles.
After 2 days of feeling as dull and down as the weather I attacked the mighty elephant of the paperwork chomping frogs left, right and centre (think they're breeding). As well as eliminating as much as possible, I've written 4 letters and now my shoulder arm and hand all ache. Going to take them to the box early in the morning as the corner shop won't be open then.
For light relief I've been doing (easy) puzzles, reading and watching series on netflicks. Finished 'National Treasure' with Robbie Coltrane and Julie Walters and started 'The Accident' with Sarah Lancashire. Think I could do with something funnier if anyone has any recommendations.
Grateful for easy food from the freezer, puzzles, tv and books, lots of sleep (over 12 hours with short periods awake), making order out of chaos, cans to stomp. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage7 -
A couple of unplanned spends today, DS2 had a upset stomach caused by eating too much cheese (he has a tendency to be lactose intolerant but is 18 so thinks he is invincible ) so off to Mr T ‘s for upset stomach tablets and lacto free milk, butter and cheese.
Took DS1 to the station at some ungodly hour, he got as far as St Pancras and found out the Heathrow express was not running so shared an uber with a German boy in the same predicament to Heathrow. That may not sound very difficult, but he has struggled with his MH for years and has been in a dark dark place until recently (almost lost him a few times) when he decided he needed to do something drastic hence trying out Canada. He never would have spoken to a stranger in a million years before!
Today I am grateful for DS1 not panicking, lactose free stuff existing, my foot feeling a little better and the kitten still not having escaped from cone of shame #3.

NSD#3
Did exercise routine before breakfast. A tricky time at the beginning & end of the day at work. Consoled myself with a large bag of sticky toffee pudding flavoured popcorn that I had in the house. If I didn't already know the flavour, I couldn't have told you what it was, cos it was shovelled in .. completed 2 sewing jobs after tea, they were interrupted by my mum phoning in a panic as water was pouring from her shower (& not from the showerhead). Emergency plumber called out & water stopped. Baked her a birthday cake & washed the dishes. Feeling tired now. Sending hugs abundant , spoil yourself & have a date with fun - you can do whatever you like, as long as it makes you smile!
@apple_muncher I must try to do more of the things I like each day. At the moment I seem to be doing lots for everyone else! The two sewing jobs I did yesterday were frogs, but managed them & felt lighter after completing them.
Grateful for a colleague giving me a bag of magazines & a book I wanted to read, reading my book whilst eating breakfast (instead of catching up on all the forum notifications), seeing a murmuration of Starlings on my way home, that I didn't burn mum's cake, phones to call for helpUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Morning turtles
Another NSD yesterday. WfH in the morning then went to the office and got home at 9pm. Had nice phone chats with both DDs.
apple - fun and frogs - not achieved much in either category as been ill. I enjoyed seeing my friend on Saturday. Yesterday i enjoyed my drive to work through lots of beautiful villages and past a castle. I have finished one book. I am getting outside every day and doing 10k steps. Went for a walk last night when i got home to top up to 11k steps.
Hope everyone has a good day

I confess I'm not doing much of the fun stuff, nor facing up to any frogs at the mo. Sometimes just getting through the day and getting to bed on time is 'a good day'.
