You are definitely 100% doing this Mothernerd, you are quite amazing. Sending you love as always Funny how eating certain things at the time is perfect, but then later really not fine! I ate peanuts last night, regretting them now!!
Sorry I haven't been on the thread, I will be a cheerleader this month as work is super busy.Nevertheless she persisted.10 -
Hi buffy - you are welcome to cheer and wave pompoms, or drape yourself over the chaise longue being fed peeled grapes, if you wish!

Thank you everyone for the good wishes 😘😘
Today I am thankful for DH driving (almost 5 hours in the car today) so that we could tell DS1 in person, for testing negative all week after spending 5 hours in close contact with my best friend last Saturday and then she tested positive on Monday (I still need to test daily until Weds), for now that DS1 knows being able to tell others (didn't want to tell others in case it somehow got back to him), for a delicious salted caramel fresh cream choux bun for sainzberries, for DD keeping an eye on DS2 and DS3 whilst we were out and putting the washing on/ putting it to dry.
Am tired - and the weekend is half over and none of the usual stuff has yet been done... sigh. But the most important job of the week has been - which is a Very Good Thing indeed 😀 👍I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £2012 -

I think we need more chaise longues (chaises longue?).
Bit of a rough day, not helped by the gloomy weather, not helped by me having killed the phone (so couldn't order a replacement online because the bank wanted to check it was me by sending a code to my phone, not helped by the unavailability of pinsentry machine (had a letter about the tv license because mum's direct debit has stopped then realised I couldn't sort that out either).
In the end I turned all the lights off and had a lie down. Rain stopped for a while so called for a taxi, went to Tessimo and bought a new phone, did a small self-indulgent shop - needed ice cream to go with my defrosted berries, resisted the urge to go in N*nd0s but bought 3 chilled ready meals (they're low calorie and will help use up the stash of frozen veg) and 2 of the latest books by a couple of favourite authors for £4 each.
At least the system of bags I set up is working - found a handful of photo's of my boys, a pair of garden gloves and some CPAP bits and they all went into their respective bags. Phone is now working and I have the same number but have lost some of the numbers that were stored (kept some that were in messages).
Grateful for time to think and remember, getting the new phone set up, being able to get back to bookface (updated software decided I should have to log myself back in to several sites - computer remembered this one and have found my little black code book), being aware that some days I just need to give in and not push myself too hard, the chaise longue. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage11 -

Small spend today to top up a takeaway gift card (£5) so me and OH could have a treat. The children all paid for their own!

Evening
Glad the kitten has stopped trying to escape @firsview 👍🏻A spend day today as planned, so I am still on 2/15. All the rings closed on my watch, and I have cleared out and tidied up 5 of the planned 8 drawers, so I’ll do the rest tomorrow.
I bought a book light from my £5 treat, it was only £1 though. I got an email from Amazon to say that my friend’s book is being released early, which is good for her, I already have a copy, but since I got it the cover has changed, but the actual story is the same.
I went shopping with my sister earlier and my nephew came with us. He is always good entertainment, Being 8 years old
Today I am grateful for managing restraint in home bargains!, for lemon muffins and for the £ shop.
I hope everyone has a peaceful Sunday.

Thank you @32b3in2013, feeling less tender today.
@greent, glad you've been to see DS1, a weight off your mind. Your choux bun sounds delicious!
Had a lovely time at mum's last night. Took her to work this morning & dropped 3 lots of sewing off (1 to collect too). There is some wool in her shop that matches the ball I'm knitting with, so can finish my jumper! Wanted to dance on the spot when I discovered the match 😃 going to use birthday money to buy it (after mum's discount)
Returned the tuna to L1dl, they had the right sort in today, but only the one in brine, which hubby can't have due to his kidney failure. So didn't buy any. Dashed round T0sco after & back home by 11.30! Took a while to put all the shopping away. Had a nap, then unpicked another zip & sorted receipts out. Binge watched a programme & listed some items on eboy. Feeling tired again now.
Grateful for a lovely fire (very stormy outside), matching wool, getting more things listed to sell, clearing programmes off the box, my familyUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Mothernerd, it's 'chaises longues' and we can have as many as we want. We are turtles! So far, there's one for you, one for Buffy, and abundant is eyeing up another one, I think. If I've missed anyone off, just holler and claim one. It's not like musical chairs where one keeps disappearing!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!10
