just deal with moorside legal letter before claim if and when it arises dont bother speculating
Will they add further costs on their letter?
    No.

But does it matter? There won't be a claim unless they make a mistake. You are in Scotland!

No monies are payable; you are out of jurisdiction.

If they send a LBC just adapt the 'Specsavers' sarcastic reply email linked in this reply to someone else in Scotland:
That'll put them back in their box.  D

If they are THEN daft enough to try an actual English Court Claim to a Defendant in Scotland, just get Jackson Yamba to strike the Claim Out using this service (no win no fee):

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks for this. Excuse my ignorance coupon mad but why is this the case? Also, why bother sending so much correspondence to a Scottish address if there is a belief on their part that keeper/driver resides there.

I take it this would be an email reply to Moorside Legal as you previously posted that's who appears to be representing them. Does there need to be any additional detail or better to leave it as brief as the example you provided. Also, has the keeper liability situation changed now in Scotland? Obviously, it was the case when the incident took place in 2022.

Nothing has changed yet in Scotland,  perhaps later this year, but not yet,  not for old claims either

You should listen to coupon mad and others,  follow their advice

Was checking some of the initial correspondence concerning this and in particular, my MP's letter to UKCPS, explaining the circumstances around the incident. In doing so, she essentially outlined me as being the driver. I have attached said letter as well as the response, including imagery, from UKCPS. Does this affect my position in any way with regards to all of this?

As we said before a single procedure is highly unlikely for a single charge whatever the circumstances.

Put your letters away and join the call asking Govt to protect motorists from the nasty private parking industry practices. A 2nd petition has just been added to the site.
