    I don't get it.

If they win your case and you don't owe anything you don't need to pay them.

If they lose your case and you have to pay the scammers you also have to pay this "legal" team.  So my question has got to be - who are they actually working for?  They have no incentive to do a decent job (which you could do yourself) because if they do do a decent job they can't make any money.

Call me cynical but I wonder if they are being paid by the bad guys to get cases to lose.  Or something.

I am not sure where the skepticism comes from

No win no fee means that the Defendant would not be paying the legal team, just paying the judgment,  if the Defendant plus legal team lost

If the legal team win, they recoup the costs by asking for them in court,  so all costs as a full total within the judgment

Going by past performance,  since JY left B W Legal and switched sides,  it's clear that he is not currently working for the parking companiesortheirgutterlawyes, the cases on contestor legal show what I have stated,  where parking companies have lost hundreds or thousands of pounds,  some of the cases were appeals too

They are likely to be working for themselves,  or freelancing,  or a different legal company that don't take on roboclaims

Anyone who hasn't read the JY blogs should do so, especially the one last month and the one this month too, where CEL lost £1200 after pursuing a gym goer for 3 pcns at a gym

Looks reasonable to me, not that it's needed in a typical DCB Legal claim case.  They are so easy.

Useful for multi-PCN cases perhaps, depending upon the fee (per PCN?) for a win.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

From my reading it applies only to strike out and summary judgements because they are not done "on track" so are not subject to the cost constraints this is how they make their money (which is fair enough) so its free to end user so to speak
It wouldn't apply for a multi ticket final hearing on the small claims track
