This was one of the images sent by UKCPS to my MP's office. As can be seen there is some signage behind the car but due to having to reverse to this point due to not being able to travel any further forward, this was unable to be  seen. The timescale for the vehicle being stopped to the passenger leaving and thereafter driving off was just over 1 minute.

We never need to see laughable DRP letters with their probably-fake 'Catfish stylee' stock photos of likely-fake employees.

All covered by the NEWBIES thread 4th post and nothing has ever changed, except the mugshots of the fake people and the fact the Government has now banned the false Debt Recovery fee add-on and declared it as 'extorting money'.

Is it worth heading back to my MP re. this then or is there little chance that they would waive the charges either in part or as a whole.

Ignore it unless they (UKCPS) try a court claim.
No contacting the DRA and no letting yourself be gaslighted by them.  Relax!  Nothing will be waived but equally, Ukcps are not especially litigious.

Got this through. I take it despite the 'taking the no response as an oversight' threat, this is the norm re. letters.

It is a debt collector letter; add it to the rest.  The only letter you take any notice of is a letter before/of claim and that will give you 30 days to pay not 7 - all explained in the NEWBIE sticky.

..... and that won't be coming from DRP!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

They have added an unlawful £70 which the Government has labelled "extortion"   You owe nothing inless a judge says you do, just ignore them.

Received this yesterday and I know what some of you have advised previously re. these letters but I take it this is nothing out of the ordinary. Is it a precursor to the next step from them or UKCPS? Given the date it arrived it would have been impossible to reply back to them anyway within their specified 7 days as that had already elapsed but I'm presuming that's a calculated move.
