You’ve reminded me I’ve not done a survey for ages, I used to do quite well on them.

    Afternoon all.
Not much planned for the weekend just some jobs around the house. Washing pegged out as its dry and blustery today, have some jeans and hoodies in the wash hopefully will get those pegged out as well, supposed to rain tomorrow so trying to get the heavy stuff washed and out on the line today and wash Ts and underwear tomorrow that can go on the airer.

Food shop on the way home from work yesterday, spent £72 this did include 2 bottles of wine. Spent the morning sorting the large chest freezer, emptied it out, cleaned it and have used some cardboard to section it into 3 parts and sorted everything back into the freezer, section 1 has ice cream, stewed fruit, pre prepared meals such as beef casserole, soup etc and leftover lunch meals that i take to work such as chilli, pasta bake etc that are in single portions in takeaway tubs, section 2 has meat, fish, pies and section 3 is for chips, hashbrowns frozen veg. top 2 baskets i have put all the odds and ends like boxes with 3 fishfingers, pastry, opened packets of veg etc. Small freezer is half full with DH fishing bait (don't ask) and going to use it for any bread that i can stock up on when its whoopsed. hopefully this will make it easier to find whats in there. Found 2 ribeye steaks so that is mine and DH tea tonight as DD is at her boyfriends and DS is at work.

Finances are ticking along, accounts are lean though. CB hits account on Tuesday and rent from cottage  is a week on Monday. £11 has hit account from survey site and i have sent it to CC2.

Speaking of surveys link for yougov if anyone fancies joining.

HI WW, yes it does take time to get to £50 payment, nice earner when it happens.
I think organising the freezer is a way of coping, all the price rises are making me quite anxious.

Hi penny! I love the Spring - the washing i out, the bulbs are coming through and the buds are on the tree.

I also have fishing bait in the freezer, funny how that hobby has faded.

Hope everything is ok, the middle of the month always drags.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend, H x

Hi Huggle, hope everything is ok with you, I'm loving spring, i picked some daffs this morning that are growing in the chicken garden so can't see them from the house, they have brightened up the kitchen.
DH does go fishing and has done since he was a child but he is terrible for forgetting to take bait out and then buys more, he did get a telling off last night.

    Enjoy the weekend xx
  • Well i'm off work feeling pants with sore throat and highh temp, done a few LFT and all negative, so fingers crossed.

Not much happening with finances, rent goes in Monday so can do a money shuffle then and pay a few bills.

Collected tops on Sunday from M&S and had a voucher on my sparks card for a freebakery item so got DS a Jam donut, also picked up a free baguette from lidl that i had on the app, did a small top up shop whilst there and spent £2.60.

Redeemed a£5 M&S voucher from micr0soft rewards, think thats it for this week.
