It’s such a shame that so many good teachers are being lost because of red tape etc. I work with quite a few ex teachers who have joined for a less stressful life. When I was at school 200 years ago, my dream was to teach English as it was my favourite subject. Circumstances dictated otherwise (long story short my parents split up, my mum couldn’t afford to support me through university and I had to find a job). With hindsight it was probably for the best the way things are.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2
