  • Worth watching out for the offers at H&B. I just picked up something but one get one half price there well worth it.
Yes i noticed a mixture of good offers on their site, i must use them more. I also 18% cashback through quidco.
18% is so good. Think I got 5%!

Yes fantastic deal, just checked and £2.69 has tracked, It must have been a special offer or maybe because i havn't used quidco in ages. I've checked and its no longer 18% but 3% which isn't great.
  • You got a bargain there then. I must look at Quidco again. I did use it but there must of been a reason I stopped.

  • Wild and windy here today, hoping the electric stays on.

Haircut this morning and was £3 under budget so this will get sent to CC1, also caught up with some surveys and redeemed a £5 amazon voucher.

Dh has been busy and painted the bathroom, just white and used paint we already had, looks fresh and bright, do need to get a new blind though.

  • Blustery night but thankfully no damage and the electricity has stayed on. Still windy this morning but no rain forecast until late afternoon so i have pegged out, fingers crossed i can get a coupe of loads dry outside today.

Quiet day at home pottering today, i need to sort the porch out as it is just a dumping ground and i'm sure some stuff could be got rid of.

Middle of the month slump where finances are concerned, not much is happening and nothing to shuffle, do get rent money for cottage on 19th but as its saturday won't show in account until Monday.

Yes, the excitement of payday eve is equal to Christmas eve  :D
  • Morning, slightly windy overnight but nothing major, hoping it stays that way.

Dogs have been walked, chickens sorted and wood baskets filled, need to go and put the washer on and tidy the kitchen.

Taking DD out for coffee and cake later as a little treat.

No money news, surveys are slow as is ebay  :/
  • Entered meter readings last night and we are still in credit by £50 and our locked in tariff doesn't end until until may 2023, hopefully we can build some credit over the spring/summer.

That's really good news about being in credit this time of year with over a year's grace on the locked in tariff. Unfortunately our tariff ended last month although we are over £200 in credit at the moment which is a miracle this time of year as we're usually in debit.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
