Hope you feel better soon, my brother has come up to visit and has tested positive on Sunday. So Mum's birthday/anniversary/mother's day lunch was cancelled. I've popped over some tests this morning for the rest of the family, he's feeling really rough so not sure if he'll go home today as planned.
Hope the Lidl trip isn't too expensive, have to say my local shop has so many empty shelves I can't spend money there! I wonder if it's the same nationwide or just poor ordering in my store. Asked friends about other supermarkets and they seem to be fine.
Anyway take care of yourself, don't do too much.

Morning all,
Thanks all, i just feel totally exhausted and doing the smallest thing wipes me out.
Payday today and money shuffle has been done, £150 into savings and £100 off the mortgage. Added up grocery spends for March £321, really pleased as i had budgeted £320 for the month.
Must try and get a few jobs done today and hang out the washing as we have sunshine although it is blooming freezing, must also take meter readings.
Going to make potato bake tonight to use up potatoes, leeks, cheese and cream. easy tea as its all bunged in together and left to do its thing in the oven.1 -
Take it easy P. It really can take it out of you. Rest and good food. Lots of water. I found lucozade helpful. Full of rubbish I know but when I’m really under the weather it does give me some much needed energy.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Morning, I am negative woohoo just need to be negative tomorrow and i can leave the building, not that i actually want to go anywhere I am such a home body that it actually hasn't bothered me being in isolation. Still feeling exhausted though.
Blinking freezing again this morning, but the sun is shining and the washer is on so will peg out today. Brought wood in and have lit woodburner, need to do a meal plan for the week, might leave food shop until Monday only things i can see us running out of between then and now is milk and bread, which i can send someone for. Made overnights oats to use up an OOD yoghurt last night actually used some dregs of what was left in the box of museli, some frozen berries and a squeeze of honey was delicious, lunch is left over potato bake or eggs depending on who gets there first and tea tonight is hunters chicken .chips and veg. Might bake a choc brownie if i have the energy.
Finances checked and sent overpayment of £100 to CC2, won't need fuel this week as i'm sure i have about half a tank but not 100% sure as i havn't been in my car for a week and won't really be going anywhere apart from dog training and supermarket next week. No school lunches to pay for the next 2 weeks although this gets eaten up in the grocery budget as DS just grazes all day.
Have a good day xx

Afternoon all.
Is anyone feeling slightly obsessed and anxious about all the price rises, DH doesn't seem phased at all but i feel as though i'm constantly thinking about ways to save and cut back. Have pegged out again today as its dry but still cold, CH clicked on for an hour this morning but i lit the woodburner as soon as i got up, i'm really wanting to turn the CH off completely but it's just so cold in a morning.
Havn't done a meal plan yet as decided to wait and see what we need Monday and spend the weekend eating up out of the stores, i have baked this morning and made choc brownie, cup cakes(need to ice) and scones. taken a mountain of bits out of the freezer to see us through the next few days -
Meatballs in sauce out for tea tonight with pasta and cheese
Frozen blueberries out and made some overnight oats for my breakfast tomorrow and Monday.
English muffins out for breakfast tomorrow for everyone else, having these with scrambled eggs (from our chooks) and smoked salmon which was bought for mothers day and needs eating.
Carrot and coriander soup out will have with some par baked rolls i have stashed. Should be enough for Monday lunch as well.
Brisket out for tea tomorrow will have with mash, carrots and some frozen veg.
stewed fruit will make into a crumble for tomorrow's pudding.
Need to decide on Monday nights tea and then shouldn't need to go shopping until Tuesday.
DD is away for 5 days next week as she is off Uni and going to visit friends so that will eek out the food shopping a bit.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.1
