I did precisely no crafting last night. DH was out and I did extreme ironing - went upstairs and put each item away as it was ironed to get my step count up. Then puppy wanted to snuggle on the sofa, so who am I to argue?! I'm at DSis's tonight for a JoGLE fundraiser, and DS1 and financee are coming for dinner tomorrow, so don't think I'll be picking anything up until the weekend now. You guys are well ahead of me with choosing a card design. I have an idea, but just need to source materials!

Hi all final TaDa! Coxy she left at the beginning of September and hasn’t been replaced. I miss her so much as she’s been with me from the beginning. I will now wrap it and either post it or drop it round.
I’ll get started on the card once I’ve checked my threads.

Hi Nmm not started yet. Keep changing my mind about the design which isn’t helpful! Stitched a little elf tag, to pop in a friend’s BD card this week. Sorry didn’t take photo.

Sorry for the radio silence. Work is bonkers and it's Nephew's anniversary this week, so all a bit much

Well done on the card progress @nmm and thanks for emailing your address. I'll be getting in touch via PM today to everyone else and will let you know who to send to soon.

In crafting news, I have my card design so just need to sort out fabric and threads. I've completed 60 rows/168 of the Harbour blanket which is basically 2 weeks' worth of the CAL. Before I go any further I want to sew the ends in as don't want to leave it all until the end. It's an easy pattern to follow and I can watch TV at the same time.

In other news, the new sofas and armchair we ordered in May and had delivered in October are having to go back... the armchair doesn't match the sofas and is a completely different design to that on the website (we saw the sofa in store and then ordered on-line). This means we need to go sofa shopping again and start over. The store will let us keep these ones and swop over once the new ones are made, but expect it'll be at least 12 weeks as the warehouse will shut over Christmas. Just so annoying.

ETA: can you believe there's a fortnightly, knitting and crochet group at work. It's cross-government - wouldn't it be funny to see some of the Cabinet there? I might join!

Coxy, i saw it was your nephews anniversary on FB such a sad time for you all well done on the blanket progress, i had sofa trouble before took 3 attempts to get one undamaged, glad i no longer need furniture, haha. Definitely join the group, i love my K&N time.

Thanks for the update Coxy. Like Nmm I saw on FB the lovely tribute to your nephew and thought it was one of the many reasons you’d taken some time.
There are obviously a whole heap more! Frustrating about the sofa’s it does seem like no where has enough staff at the moment!
Amazing progress on the CAL. Waiting for photos.
Card is coming along s-l-o-w-l-y. So tired at the mo.
