Real Foxy theme emerging this year so far. What a talented bunch you all are. Wraith lady glad you parted with it, it’s cuteness is cheering me up.

    Drawingaline beautiful stitching and mounting.

it’s very icy here but no snow.

Luckily I’ve been WFH so far this week and haven’t had to brave driving in the ice, but it’s freezing in the house. I am wearing several layers, including a scarf and my Nordic socks. Also have a little fan heater to blast my office intermittently.

I have to drive to Lowestoft for 9 on Thursday am, not looking forward to that. Lots of students are asking if we can switch to online for our half day PD session on Friday. I’m inclined to agree with them considering the price of fuel, and the level of experience some of them have with driving. I’d hate to put them under stress or have parents come to their rescue for the sake of two hours. Plus we’d have to cancel the staff lunch - happy days!

Shame about M&S, as you say, maybe they should stick to their core business.

    Nmm frozen marina sounds magical.

    Back to work ….

  • I have almost finished the distraction project which means I will need to go back and finish the great wave. Last lot of backstitch, and I am taking the great advice from here and am going to use seed beads instead of French knots! Already purchased, the idea of doing over 50 French knots had me breaking out in a cold sweat, I just can't seems to ever get them right. And the piece won't look right without this detail, so beads it is.

Nmm Lovely finishes. Drawingaline it sounds like a good call. This is meant to be fun after all. We can give ourselves permission to colour outside the lines occasionally or make a different picture with the fuzzy felt!

    Its lovely drawingaline

I've finished the cross stitching on the Noel hanger, just trying to make it up now without ruining it, lol.
