Ballet shoes I have and read every few years - good old Great Uncle Matthew. All of L M Montgomery (Blue Castle is one of my top ten books ever). What Katie Did, and the follow ups (free on kindle usually). I capture The Castle - Dodie Smith. Railway Children - which makes me cry every time (Daddy, oh my Daddy)
Heaven - sorry for hijacking DIA. Love reading.

I've never read Ballet Shoes or Enid Blyton but I think I went through all the Nancy Drews. Montgomery's Anne books were great and I was astonished when my mom mentioned that she used to live down the road from the family! All of which points to the other odd things I read as a child, Grey Owl, Farley Mowat, Charles GD Roberts, Margaret Laurence and Atwood. All time favourite from that era though has to be Burnford's Incredible Journey. I've wanted a bull terrier ever since.

Thanks for all the encouraging comments
All this talking of books, was prompted by trip to the library. It did not happen the library is closed on Thursday, so books tomorrow instead.
Today was an unstructured day that didn't entirely work. I prefer some sort of structure so back to lists of things I want to do/achieve
Forced myself to do a few walks.
I won on the PBs. I need to check how much. I assume £25. It is quite nice not being sure if it is more!
Tomorrow- library
- post a parcel at the PO
- write a letter to a friend
- send a card to a friend
- call dry cleaners
- sort out notebooks
- update calendar
- complete a cover letter
- check finances and make a payment
I'm going to have a smoked mackerel and avocado salad tomorrow with soup.
I hope everyone had a mostly positive, day.

Your plans look good, don't fret about a disorganised day and resolve to have them once a week when you do something off the cuff.
