All very organised and I'm impressed with everything bar the letter being crossed off. I'm currently trying to motivate myself to do something other than read the forum! Hope today is as successful.6

I read 3 cookbooks today and they are ready to go back.
Tomorrow's list- check bus timetables for a trip to the seaside next week
And I love reading cookbooks. I'm dreadful about following recipes but I like the ideas they give me. And some cook/authors are both funny and articulate in describing their food experiences. I've read all of Keith Floyds many times.

Thanks @mmaggie I hope your motivation got going. Mine was hiding today...
Thanks @Brie I'm the same. I read for ideas. Recipes are too prescriptive. I love Floyd. He had the right approach to food and cooking. He improvised- complete a cover letter

I did a few things not on the list at all, like make a veggie curry

Well done on the cover letter and veg curry. I too find recipes too prescriptive.

I walked into town as I went to the little SM (I seem to be spending lots as I spent another £20) I did get a far few YS items. Hopefully no more spending on groceries but I have noticed the shops here are costly!
I wrote an email to a little park my relative used to go to. I want to have a tree planted in her name with a little plaque. I shared with idea with family and they all like it. She loved the park and was a tree hugger. I feel better at the thought of this and hope it can happen.
I will attempt a pizza today with an almond and chickpea flour base, pesto, red onions, courgettes and basil (the basil was 17p for the whole bunch.)
The rest of the day will be reading, phone calls. @savingholmes, tonight my joyful treat will be lighting the wood burning stove.
Have a good day everyone.

I love to see memorial benches and planting a tree is a lovely idea too. I hope it's not too expensive. Should it prove to be I'd just go seed bomb the places she went to - that will certainly make the bees happy!!!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards.
