We all do what makes us feel at ease and when it's the right thing it brings comfort, not stopping until it's done.
Enjoy the visit.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.6 -
Thanks everyone.
A frog that should have been eaten yesterday was eaten first thing this morning. It was a tech frog, my least favourite frog category. Anyway, frog eaten and I was able to call my friend in Oz for prearranged chat. Was great talking to her. Nice that we can now contact each other with ease too due to the eaten frog.
I've cracked the YS time slot for veggies at the sm for Sundays at least. There always seem to be lots of organic veggies so I am able to keep the soup going. MSE
I've been using the library to order in new books. Nice having so many books to dip in and out of and of course very MSE
Friend coming tomorrow. She has a car so we can drive to the coast. I need more wood, bread and some nice wine, so that is my task for tomorrow. I have soup and cheese, good coffee (Some of the nicer coffee was on offer, so bought that today)
Anyway, off to do a tidy up and have a cup of tea.
Hope everyone is ok

Good news about the tree 🌳
Well done on the frog 🐸
It's nice that you have friend visiting you 🚗In a way you're back on the mend . Enjoy these moments regardless
I'll leave it there ..😼5 -
Good news on the tech frog and connections with friends.
Glad you are enjoying the library. I make massive use of library e-books but don't go into the library itself. I really should more as it would be terrible to lose it!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Thanks @jwil I love libraries. Always have, always will. Hope we have them forever...
Thanks @another_casualty Correct! I feel I am,'in a way,' back on the mend...
Thanks @savingholmes

A few days away and in that time my friend has visited and gone back home. We drove to the coast, had f &chips, drank wine, visited lots of independent shops and cafes and had lots of chat and laughter. It has confirmed being close to the sea will suit me. We spent ages beach coming for driftwood and bits of sea glass. I love that sort of thing...
I had a bad few nights. I got a text saying my storage unit payment was overdue. I also had a CC, and a few other payments causing me concern including housing costs now and going forward. An organisation said I owed £150 when I thought I had cleared the balance. It reminded me of years ago before I cleared my £24k debt when I couldn't sleep for worry about money.
Slept ok last night and felt better this morning...
Yesterday I called my bank and tracked down payments that prove I do not owe the organisation £150. I owe them nil.
Today I called the unit. They made a mistake and the next payment is not yet due.
I now have a plan to pay the other things I need to.
NO UPDATES ON THE HOUSE FRONT
A job I applied for did not work out. Disappointing but like the house, in the end I HAVE TO ASSUME SOMETHING WILL WORK OUT. There is something else I can apply for and another idea is a role that hasn't been advertised, but I'm thinking of how I can approach the organisation.
I hope everyone is ok
