Well done eating the application frog.
Very smart spacing the travel out, should make it easier and hopefully you've a packed lunch or food ready at home for ease.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.5 -
Today will probably be one of the last emotional days of your progress towards your new and improved lifestyle . Progress is what you are making in abundance , and should not be forgotten as you strive onwards and upwards...6

Thanks everyone for your support and kind comments
@another_casualty you were right. The last day was indeed emotional. I have to believe going is a step forward to my new life.
I did it. I left...On to a lovely friend who picked me up in the end. Unfortunately, on Monday a migraine wiped me out. I was feeling stressed and tired and I had been eating poorly. Add in a few drinks with my friend, and I suppose it was inevitable. Yesterday I arrived here. It is very restful and I slept well. The friend who owns the house was here to meet me and we spent the day together. A few walks and a visit to a F&V market.
I made an adzuki, pumpkin bean stew with quinoa and brown rice mix. I made some beetroot and adzuki bean burgers for another day.
I spent £35 on food, but hopefully next week will be less as I will already have some key items.
Part of being here will be rest and restoration so healthy food is a key part of that.
There is a library at the top of the road and they ok for me to use my friend's card to take things out.
Off to have a bath
I hope everyone is ok.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I finally got back to my local library a week or so back - so very nice, I can't imagine what life would be like without them.

where would we be without libraries? I spent half my childhood leisure time in them. Anyone else for the Chalet School?

@beanielou hurray, glad it wasn't just me. Was driving my eldest around tonight and he was instructing me about countries like Austria during WW2, and I tuned out and thought about Bills hair turning white in the tunnel, and quite how Jo and the her husband got engaged. I do still own a few as paper copies. The only Blyton I still own is 'Family at Red Roofs' which is a proper tear jerker. Loved Malory Towers though. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese
