Thanks @mark55man. It is good to be reminded. You make some good points.
Good idea to search on documents/attachments. The issue is I recently cleared these out and deleted many in case my email was hacked as there was sensitive information on them.
I usually do a new CV, but use the work history from an old CV. My problem is recalling when I worked for each organisation. I have freelanced a lot and I'm worried my memory is unreliable. For example, was I doing that job in December 2009 or was it the following year? That sort of thing...I have plenty of time so using this as an opportunity to do a good CV

You are more organised than me DIA 😼..
I have let's just say , an embarrassing amount of emails that for some reason I should get rid . If it were about my home and not emails , I'd be on one of those tv programmes about the hoarders from hell.Having said that , I was lucky to take a shortcut that I mentioned yesterday 😸
Bizarrely enough speaking of memory , I found a cv that I forwarded to someone else that I completely forgot about in 2009 . It came up in the search .
Hope today is a good day .
I'll leave it there 😼5 -
Good news or not DIA, but most people will only mainly be interested in your last few years, but its always good to see the total experience even if it is just a "WorkCo - 2006-2010 - Creative Genius" sort of entry,I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Thanks everyone
I had been dreading today as it involved getting my bike into storage (two cycle/walks and two trains) It is done now. I struggled to get the bike into the unit, but the important thing is it is done. This took most of the day.
Tonight I will be doing my CV. it might take a few goes at it to get it done but I have time before the deadline.
I paid my cc off in full again. I've promised myself to always do this. It is the only way for me to avoid the cc slippery slope.
Today I ate before I left the house so although hungry when I got in I was not ravenous, so ate in a balanced-ish way.
Spent today on fares and a bit of grocery shopping including coffee
I hope everyone had a good enough dayIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

HI DIA - do you have a profile on linkedin - that could also help both now or in the future. A lot of employers will look you up on there - and it can also be used as an extra ID check. Also if you got O365 - you could store your stuff online and reduce the risks if your laptop was stolen again.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks @savingholmes. Some good tips there
Thanks @beanielou It was a big frog that needed eating. Relieved it is safely stored.
I slept poorly. As it gets closer to the end here I feel more unsettled. Not surprising. I got up and active instead of listening to my negative internal chatter.
Today on the list is:- library and CV writing
