Ha, spoke too soon! Not that I don't have good friends but I was let down by a friend who I suspected might not do what she said she would. It is funny as last time we spoke I put the phone down and felt worse than before I made the call and realised it wasn't the first time. In the past she did something that another friend pointed out but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. I sorted out the boxes she agreed to store with a family member so it is ok. I feel no ill will, but I am a lot clearer about her now.doingitanyway said:savingholmes said:Glad you enjoyed the park. Sounds like you have good friends. I too have made soup today (and yesterday).
I saw a job I will apply for today. It is rare as it is 12 hours and permanent. It would be useful and it is WFH so if successful I could keep it wherever I moved to. I'm sure lots of people will apply but as the lottery says: you've got to be in it to win it
I made more soup today (MSE)
I walked to save a fare today (MSE)
I bought bread in the health shop today. (Non MSE) When I am settled I will make my own and save a fortune!
I hope everyone is having a good day.

The problem of course with home made bread is it's so yummy I would eat it all in one go. Probably with a half pound of butter. So not very MSE and my waist wouldn't be happy either.
Friends can be a hit or miss. Numerous times I miss them and then I want to hit them.....
Good luck with the job!! Someone's got to win the lottery and it might as well be you!!!

At times of need some friends show their true colours, afterwards when things are calmer work out whether their overall ways are what you want in your life.

Sorry about the friend, but it's good to know for the future.

Thanks @Brie, I'm the same with hm bread unless I slice and freeze it immediately! Your friend comment made me laugh
So, I can finally report walking shoes that fit! That goal took a lot of pushing through. I still need walking boots but what I have now will do for everyday walking. At last! Fourth time lucky.
I now have half the job application form completed.
Need to return the other boots so will do that this afternoon.
Counsellor has Covid so I won't see her until after I am back from the country.
I did some work for a friend last night and that is finished now.
I am going to see if I can get a few YS food treats as there is a big food store there.
Discovered I don't have the paperwork to do the HMRC frog so I will need to do that this week.
Feeling ok considering
